He lied

Zachary still sleeps in pull ups and wets them almost every single day. Fr the past 3 months we have given him big incentives to try to get him to really stop wetting. He can have his first sleep over AND earn $20 (the money we would save in one month of not having to buy pull ups). He even made himself a chart to check off the days he did it. We let him know once he does it for 2 weeks straight he should be able to go forever. He was doing GREAT and went 13 days in a row, and then a few nights ago wet through the pull up and onto the sheets. He was dissapointed but we told him it happens and we would just go on to the next day. Well the past 2 days he has wet too. Tonite he was helping me put his clothes away and I found a pull up in the corner on the floor that was peed in. I asked him to get it and looked further into the corner and there were two more!He instantly said so seriously, I am so sorry mom. AND he did not want me to tell his dad. So we went out with all three and he started crying and was so upset with himself. He knew it was wrong but he wanted the money. His dad and I talked to him and let him know there is no lying in this house and we were quite disapointed in him. NOT for peeing in them, but for hiding them and lying. He went to bed knowing he would be punished for the lying.
I feel bad that he felt he had to hide them. He will be 8 on the 18th and we have tried EVERYTHING to help him stop doing it. No liquids after 6pm, getting him up before I go to bed to go to the bathroom, the money and sleep over, etc. We just dont know what else to do. At his 6 and 7 year old check up we have asked if there is anything else we should do, testing ect and were told no. Well, his 8 year old check up is in a few weeks and something has to be checked.
He went to bed very upset and I just wanted to lay with him and hug him. But he also needs to know we are not going to tolerate the lying....this sure is hard!
