I am officially out of work til Feb 2nd at least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am soooooo excited....it couldnt have come at a better time either, as this nasty cold has come back and I feel like crap.

Today is girls breakfast with Di (probably our last before adding a new girl (Mayo) to the mix...then shopping (baby stuff, Christmas Tree Shop) ...this afternoon we have to make the shirt for tonight (the school Halloween party).
Tomorrow is the Scouts food bag dropoff...then ...

I had a nasty cold the end of Sept...it took a while to finally go away, but it did...dh ended up with it, and so did Andrew. DH actually went to the dr for some meds bec he had a fear of them not letting him into the OR in 2 weeks for my section...he had an upper resp infect and has been on meds since Monday and is feeling better...

Guess what I wake up to yesterday AM? That nasty bump in the throat signaling the beginning of a cold...you know that post nasaly drip, dry bump back ...

I told my boss last night that my last night would be Thursday and his reaction? "FU**, what am I going to do now?" ....now, you would think maybe he meant this as a compliment, like I am so good that he cant imagine what will happen to the team without me there? no...he meant, "****, now I have to do my own work and not shovel it on Maryanne"...which is what he does...my nickname at work is Garbage Girl bec he gives me all his garbage, escalated issues, followups etc...I even ...

My doggy is outside right now, in a mobile grooming van. She is way too big to bathe inside, she wont let DH near her nails (and I dont even try) and she needs a bath soooo badly. I dont like bringing her in my truck anywhere, bec 1. she is a yellow lab that sheds unbelievably all over my black interior 2. I have leather seats and she has long, sharp nails, and 3 (not least) she slides in the back when I put the seats down for her so its not that safe.

We found a mobile groomer through ...

DH went on Andrew's field trip yesterday in my place...didnt get as many pics as I would have liked, but I give him credit for going (the only dad to ever go on field trips) and remembering the camera in the 1st place!

They went to a pumkin patch, that had a petting zoo, games, corn maze, and a playground. The kids were there for almost 3.5 hours and had a blast. This is Andrew in the barrell cars...not the greatest pic of him, but he isnt into having his picture taken, so i take ...

15 more days til Baby Mayo gets here!! I am sooo anxious...we saw the IL's yesterday and FIL is almost as anxious as we are...which is neat to see bec he is usually pretty tight with his emotions.

It looks like I am going to change my leave of abscence date to this Friday the 24th...that will leave us next Sat to clean the house, finish up the room (moving crib over to put full bed back in for mom and dad)...Sun is one of my niece's bday parties...then M, T, ...

My dh's brother is a shallow, jealous man...always has been always will be. We deal with it. His wife is pretty close to the same. They hate when anyone gets more attention than them or their kids. They thrive on being the center of attention. When they got married I was 34 weeks pg with my 1st and I tried to downplay it so as not to take attention away from them ...

When I was pg with Lucas, they announced their pg, on his Christening day, as dh puts it "to steal his thunder". ...

Andrew had an awful nosebleed last night, and has a stain on his mattress about the size of his head! ...there was no cover on the mattress (my bad) so its a direct hit. It was dried by the time we discovered it. I put a cold washcloth on it and let it soak and rehydrate. then I poured peroxide on it, and blotted, which worked pretty well. There is a center stain now left, about two inches long and half inch wide...but the whole stain, where I got it out, has now ...

I went to the OB today and all was well....baby is still high, head nowhere near engaged...and I havent really had any contractions...we both seem to think my body just doesnt know how to go into labor on its own (Andrew was induced, Luke was a scheduled section, Isabella was induced and this one is scheduled).

We confirmed my csection date (11-4) and I had asked him about getting out of work for the 31st, to give me the night before the section off. He said he would write ...

so I went and got this book for Andrew, since he has started asking questions about babies coming out, and has gotten some wrong info from his friends (out a girl's butt!!!) ..aCK...

in reading this book though, there are places I dont really want to go with him yet...masturbation? He's 8 and while I dont want to raise a prude, I dont want to bring up issues he hasnt inquired about yet...and I dont really want to go into the "how babies are made" discussion either, which ...
