DHs dad died last night. We are headed to the airport to drop him off in a bit. What do I tell the kids??? Your grandfather who you didnt really know died? I feel bad for DH. He has probably seen him only a couple dozen times (if that) since he was 8 yo, but now he has to go and say his goodbyes and "deal" with dysfunctional family dinamics (of a family he barely knows) since he is left everything (although we don't know if there is even a will). I wish there was a way I could be there...

Today was a great busy day....

This morning, Bri and Sam went to a nature class about frogs with dad... sounds like they had a great time! After the class (which was inside and included a small hike) they went for a hike with Dad. Meanwhile, Erin and I went to a birthday party down the street. Then, at 2:00 all the girls and I went to another birthday party (a friend from Twin's class). They had a great time there as well, as did I! Not many of the kids from their class showed up,...

Last week was a "wash" on the diet. My parents were here for a couple days, and those girl scoute cookies snuck in my house as well as some Valentine's day crap!

This week... I am back on track! I AM going to lose the weight I am only a couple pounds away from my goal.. I now have a diet buddy... one of my friends down the street. We are emailing each other every morning for encouragement and keep us on track... i think it is working for both of us. I am hoping that...

I love it when my kids feel a sense of accomplishment and are proud of what they have done. A couple days ago, Brianne finally "got it"; She now knows how to build houses (roof and all) with the lincoln logs . All of a sudden, it just clicked. She is so proud of herself... and her sisters are too. She helps Sam build as well, describing which logs to use. Samantha doesnt seem frustrated that she doesnt know how to do it, she is just proud that her sis knows how to do it. Yesterday,...

You know, I am just not looking forward to today. Nothing crazy is really going on... it is just sometimes I get tired of the "same old thing", kwim? Maybe if I get myself another cup of coffee, I'd feel better . The house needs to be straightened, kids fed, kids bathed, kids entertained... need to excersize blah blah blah blah blah . Sometimes this SAHM can get kind of mundane? you know what i mean?

Tonite, the girls and DH went to the movie CURIOUS GEORGE... sounds like they all enjoyed the movie . When they were gone, I had these HUGE plans to get a bunch of stuff done and relax... maybe even have a glass of wine. Well, instead, I just sat at my computer and got some EBAY listings done. Actually, it was a good thing. Usually, it would take twice as long to get the listings ready. I now have 15 products up, at least 8 of them are listings that I worked on tonight.
