Those with more than one kid, I mean. I had Jesse today, plus two girls I often watch when their regular sitter can't. I'll have them all week. Then this a.m. a very good and very old friend of mine called. She's been in town all week b/c her mother's in the dying process. Well, her Mom died this a.m. so could I watch the girls (20 months and 3 yo). The only other person in town she trusts to watch them works f/t so I was her only option. "SURE" I pop out with. So she brings them over. WOW! Thankfully one of the older girls is 10 yo and LOVES little girls so she was a huge help! Plus, it's so freakin' hot right now there's no way I could take someone else's kids outside to play. It's always hot here, but right now we're under heat advisory so it's even worse.

Selfish as this sounds I'm glad the mother's service is Saturday and not Monday. Monday will be a year since Mark died. A funeral just isn't what I had in mind for that day, although I would've gone.

I go nuts on a daily basis, that's how I do it .

I was reading your previous blog entry and I have to tell you that my school is considering having the nursing students wear uniforms or scrubs to lectures and labs, in addition to clinicals and I am GLAD! I hope they do that. I hate trying to figure out what to wear to class on campus. I am soooo not cool when it comes to fashion . I'd rather look like everyone else .

What a nice friend you are! It wouldn't be as hard if they were yours and you had some sort of a routine (well as much of one as is possible with young children ). It's also much harder when you can't get outside!

to you- I've been thinking about you lots- I'm sure this month is extra hard for you.

I just go in fast forward all day and then at 9 oclock finally rest. I love having the kids around me though. It makes my day so interesting

I'm hyper-ventilating just reading how many children you had in your care. What a terrific friend you are!! Keep us up to date on how it's going.

LOL, Leigh that's over my regular headcount, too! I have no idea how those with 3+ kids do it...though I am always impressed and in awe!
