I am 38, married for 14 years, have a stepson and lost my son at 21 3/7 weeks due to IC. We were unaware that I had IC until I ws 4.5 cm dialited. We went in to the OB because I was having CM with light pink tint. They did a vaginal exam and saw my ambiotic sac hanging down. They rushed my code 3 to Abbott NW in Mpls, MN. Once there they examed my, did a ultrasound and gave us our options. In the end I had BV that infected my placenta and my water broke and I went into labor. 26 hours later, 15 hours of hard labor and many issues with misplaced epidurals (3 times), forgetting to put in a cathider for 15 hours among other things. We gave birth to my son on 11.16.10 at 2:14pm. He blessed us with 46 minutes of time with him but due to him being so premature he was not able to stay with us. We went to our Perinatal, RE and OB and were told the only issue I have is a IC. We have been given a green light to start to TTC again in January (after 2 natural cycles). My RE triggered first period with provera and when my next AF comes we will start our fertility treatments. We use follistem and ovidrel with timed intercourse.
