Ds stepped up to plate and mowed the lawn, first time and he did a good job...one of the trees in the front broke so he and a friend ditched it in the creek behind the neighbors house. Can go out to eat two weeks from now...but there is a catch...ds is in the church musical only for a few minutes on stage. The directors wife asked him if he would do it. He never says no to her. So I just need to see if dd and her beau can get the kid from his acting debut... I knew there was something going on the 20th. Got DD's Senior Pictures Scheduled for then too. But that will be either morning or afternoon.

Stress at work is really piling up. I get one thing fixed and 3 other things just get added. I will get it all done. Maybe, Big boss is going to LA for 4 days so I should be able to get it all done while he is gone.Lost a file today. Have no idea where I put it. I was trying to hurry due to the fact that I had to get the file finished, pick up kids, and get to a meeting with the preacher all before 4. none of the above with the exception of the kids was done on time. I fat fingered the "move this file" to a different folder. ...only knows where that thing is. Will do a search tomorrow to find it. Move inventory around and so forth...Going to bed.

They got candy that is the most important thing. Ds had Mbadge univeristy today on campus. Never in my life have I seen so many tan shirted Scouts walking all over... They had over 2000 registered. My friend took him this morning because he had to teach a photography merit badge. Picked him up at 6 he was tired. Made him some ribs and invited the BF over to eat dinner. DD and Bf have now left the house and are at the movies. They are going to his Sunrise service tomorrow b/c she has officially become one the the 1st Pres kids..They will come to our service at sunday School time. Take the photo out in front of the Cross filled with flowers. Their 4 year old teacher mrs Fay took one when they were just 4. It is one that we will always treasure forever. Since they are all Seniors now it will be a great morning. I will be up at church at 7am for service and then getting the gym finalized for children's service. Then big church. Going to P's house for lunch and egg hung with confetti eggs. then I am going to come home and Crash. Next week starts church camp prep time in full swing...meeting with the pastor this monday night.Should have met with my co-director before hand but oh well....still need a freaking prom dress for Saturday....Helpppppp I need an extra 200 to make it happen.

Today at first job no one was there to clean the trailer out and clean up the kits that they take out to the farms so it was my job to scrape cow poo off of all the instruments and clean out the trailer. That took 4 hours of my day. Because it is a meticulous job that must be done thoughly. After work at church came home to get ds so he could acolyte for Good Friday service. Last night was Maunday Thursday service and it was very different from the last pastors. So anyway went back to work. Will have to go back again tomorrow and work.
Ds is going to a merit badge workshop on Campus tomorrow. I asked our friend Jay to take him and save me some gas and some parking since he is going to teach one of the merit badges in the morning. Ds will be gone all day. WE are still on the search for the prom dress that needs to be found before Saturday!!!

Ds's arm still hurts the dr said it was not broken but would continue to be sore. I has a lot to do with the tendons and muscles. He asked the dr yesterday when he would start growing. He said that ds has about 5 years to grow and that he had grown about 1 1/2" in about 4 months. He was okay with the answer.

I was in charge of kids worship tonight. Got my dd and her beau to help out with the younger kids. I did the older ones and I wore their butts out. Ds is already in bed at 8:45. What really excited me the most was that boss and I talked for about 45 minutes tonight and that probably was the longest we had visited in quite some time. It was all work related and some family mixed in but I will take what I can get. I miss him

You know I have not chewed as much ice as I have in the past since taking those EFA's maybe I needed those. My sis kept trying to get me take some but they are whopping expensive. So I declined till dh brought me some.

DD is waiting on news from the texas costal school but right now she is leaning toward the school in H-town. Not bad it is applying for a tier 1 status and hopes to have it by the fall. only 3 other's in texas have it, Texas, a&m and rice. They stated in the h newspaper that 38% of freshmen were in the top 25 %. Which included dd she is sitting at 12 percent. Pretty exciting stuff. I think we are coming down for open house on the 1st, at least that is what BF thinks it is. His daddy wants to come since he lives in KW. Great way to meet the dad, who is the rocket scientist, and get to know him She would have most certainly got into A&M had we not had the debacled transcript in late. Sad for her. She should have said she wanted to go back in December. Oh well...she can transfer.

Met with my co-director this afternoon. Great meeting loved seeing her. Getting caught up and just planning for a great camp.

Just work tomorrow. We may to the U of H open house next weekend. BF's dad wants him to go. So I may tag along with them so we can check out campus. Will know more later on in the week.

He tried to tough it out but at 1:45 he went to the nurse and she called me. The Sports medicine Dr squeezed him in and took Xrays. Nothing to see. Just a sling and a splint. Said he could not see a fracture but it could still be there. Go back next Wednesday to have another Xray. So it is confirmed I have another boy on my hands..Hahahahahaha. DD was the queen of stitches. Ds is the king of slings!!! Remember the scooter incident. Funny thing is when he brought out this huge sling he said it was either that or a Barney sling. Ds said I don't think I will be wearing any barney sling again.

J was sick tonight so I took my rowdy bunch of bible study kids to Ash Wednesday service. Our church is right next door to one of the local Catholic churches. I have never seen so many of them parking in our lot as I did tonight to go their service. Glad to see Ash Wednesday is so important to so many people. Oh and it was a great day to celebrate DH's Daddy! I told the kids about him and that today would have been his 90th birthday. Hard to believe that I missed meeting this wonderfully strong intelligent man who gave my DH all his smarts and good looks.

Got off of work flew to the movie theater and no one was seeing the war movie we were going to see. So they did not offer it. So the next showing was the Star Wars...what ever the first prequile( SP) was for the beginning of the series. That came out in 200? So we watched it. I know, I know I should know what the name of that movie was but it was pretty good. Seeing I had never seen it and Ds had but said it was his favorite. He is such a good son for humoring me. I have all these Science fiction nuts that I am related to.

Made enchiladas tonight. Taco soup tomorrow in the crockpot. Work at both places tomorrow. Nice relaxing afternoon with no work.
DD has a sinus issue if she still has it by Wednesday I will take her in. She just has had a huge headache today even with pain killers. Oh and on a very sad note. We finally got a response from the local University on our tardy transcript. AFTER more than 3-5 days of waiting, more like 11. It came last night at 7:57pm, who was up typing such crap?? Anyway they said that they would love to reconsider her application but....in all fairness to those who go their app process in on time they are still declining her application for consideration and that the Univerisity down on the Coast was the best option for her to consider to get into the Univerisity here. Since they are basically the same school just different campus'. So now we wait on their admission decision. That ap was filled complete because it had a late deadline. Oh well we still have many options for this gal. U of A, U of H and the last one to come in. Hopefully tamu@G. No word on bf's admission either. He checks every day...but he is corp route so if it is the one on the coast they automatically admit them to the local campus for the corp. We are going to visit the school this spring and decide...

Called the 27 year old today. He was excited about his "date" but dd said it tanked... I am so sad for him.... Went to work this afternoon ran into an old friend at WM and stood there for almost 45 minutes just catching up. Really nice visit. DD is off with the Bf they went to the dance hall. She was so excited to get to go. Talked to BF told him that I was holding him responsible for her safe return on time. He is such a great kid! No worries...Ds #2 is off spending the night with a really good friend who lives down the street. HE has not played with him at all this year but the two were inseparable all through elementary school. Matter of fact his cat is our cats momma! I also just learned today that his dad's mother passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. I must send a card. So it was good that DS went to spend the night with his friend. Just to be a good friend. I really needed to go to church after 1st job...but we went to the DPS and waited for an hour to get DD's ID card. So now I don; have to let her carry her passport around and lose it. Danged thing cost more than a tooth filling LOL. Should have gone to our packs blue and gold banquet tonight as well. But it was raining and I was DONE! So ds and I had man meat night. At the total cost of 2.75 cents a piece. Pretty good deal for full tummy's. Ds got his new Baritone today He was thrilled and is currently practicing. Sounds like Ds #1 from a long time ago. Hard to believe that we will have a 27 year old!!! Great news is he is smitten with an Irish gal at school. Funny thing is...she hales from the same county as DH and I do. Could this be an Omen of God?? I really know that DS wants to find a girlfriend that could lead to a wife material. We say our prayers...

Did not go to the 1st job today because I was at church camp this morning till 4 this afternoon. Funny how jealousy raises it's ugly head...My boss made a snide remark this afteroon my church boss... Here is what happened. this morning when I got to the church office. I was in the work room waiting on the pastor to get ready and I was talking to our facilities director Hosey. Anyway I mentioned to him that I may not be back in time to get DS from school. He said " You know I will go and pick him up if you need me too." So when it came time for me to realize that I was not going to make it back in time to get him from school I called the office and asked either he or our business manager to go and get him. She promptly texted me that He had made a run to school to get Ds. Ds was over the moon we all love Hosey!!! So...fast forward to my leaving my boss's office this afternoon. What does he say to me..."Glad you trusted me with picking up your son this afternoon" Wait WHERE DID THAT COME FROM???? Jealous I think just a bit.. told him that he said he was not coming into the office today so I did not want to inconvenience him to go and pick up ds from school. Next time I will remember to call him first. Funny kind of...

It was great to see our old pastor today. This divorce has really taken its toll on him. We visited a bit. He did say that last year he could not be with us at all during the week because it was too emotional. That I understand. Their divorce is final on DH's father's bd. One good thing about church camp is they have hired a chef who came out of retirement to cook for the camp. I had my very first orchid in a salad today and it was very yummy!!! Very pretty food. Lots of it and I can't wait to have more of it this summer. 5 of us fit into our registrar's pickup! She made good on her half of the winning ticket I sold her. Got my 50 bucks this afternoon. Gotta love that woman.
