right now... I miss St. Louis. Great time and great beer. But I missed my family too much. Dh's niece posted a picture of her late parents on fb a while ago. It was the one where they were in the plane together and he was going to take off. The love the two of them shared in that one moment was a lifetime ago. I miss those two very much...then...DH's other sister posted a photo of her dh in Korea. The one where he is in a ditch with heavy artillery. I have seen that one many times before. It is good to look back on certain people in different times in their life.

DD is at an away game. We did not go it was up by Austin tonight. Ds had his first school dance , I had to purchase 480 hot dog buns. I panicked at first because the manager at Sam's kind of had a deer in the headlight's look when I asked him for help. The usual place where they kept them was empty. Not one bun found but he told me where some more were if I went over there. If not he was going to call vendors in the morning for me to get them I ordered 500 hot dogs from the local meat market, the one with the big Angus in the sky!! Love me some of that meat market. It reminds me of the one at home. Speaking of the one at home it is their birthday celebration tomorrow. Downtown with parade out at the airline hall for dances, contests and arts and crafts. 25 years ago Dh and I first met at one of these he won the pizza eating contest I was helping his sister sell craft stuff and we have been together since. So October holds a dear spot in my heart<3.

Tomorrow is more carnival. Today P and L got on their cruise ship I will check periodically to see if I can catch them on the web cam on the boat. If I tell them to be at a spot at a certain time maybe I can wave to them. That would be neat!

come on Hs game beat the other team and the Cardinals.... need to win this series.
