I did a little shopping last night and bought a few tops for work. Normally, I would wash them before wearing, but since I am so behind on laundry and have nothing else to wear, I yanked the tags off one of them and put it on.

Oh yuck! I didn't realize it in the store when I tried it on, but tonight.... ewwwwww.... it reeks like BO. Bad, manly, nasty BO. Ewww ew ew!

So I grabbed another new top and gave it a serious sniff test. (It was in the same bag after all.) ...

I'm losing it... rarely know what day of the week it is to begin with. I go to work one day and come home on a new day.

Today was take your kid to work day, so she didn;t have to go to school. DH did that.

So I get Susannah bathed and ready for school tomorrow. Oh wait.. there's no school tomorrow.

But no, wait... yes there is. It's half day school with BASE after school. Monday is a half day as well, with BASE in the morning, and assessment in the afternoon. ...

If I look at the big picture, I'm inclined to think not.

My daughter is definitely my daughter. In the grand scheme of things, I'm impressed... overwhelmed with her confidence. I'm not sure I was so confident and willing to stand up for what I thought at her age.

So after our talk last night about the "group," I thought she was okay with it. Apparently she had something else in mind. When I picked her up from school today, I asked her how her day was. ...

I guess we've been fortunate up until now.

Susannah called me into bathroom while she was bathing and, with the saddest voice ever, told me she isn't friends with Mariah anymore.

I asked her what happened. She said Mariah was passing out friendship bracelets at recess. When she got to Susannah, she told her in a mean voice "You aren't in our group, so you don't get one."

I asked Susannah if she usually plays with Mariah. She said no. I asked ...

My poor girl just came crying down the stairs... "Mommy, I wet myself in my bed."

She's just beside herself. She has never, not EVER once, wet the bed.

I got her cleaned up, stripped her bed, and got her into some clean PJ's. She asked WHY she wet herself.

Well, I don't know? I guessed that maybe it was all that soda she had at dinner. She insisted that was not the reason. I told her that maybe she got cold. She does kick her blankets ...

I'm still at work and just got a call from a frantic little girl

The scenario last night went like this: we colored eggs and put them in the fridge. When Sannah wemt to bed she asked me to take them out and leave them on the dining room table so the bunny could hide them.

Sure I said... and then daddy agreed he would hide them later, because he is the only one who actually eats the eggs, and he is freaky about having them out over night.

You see where ...

That would have been the appropriate thing to say.

Instead, while I was brushing my daughters hair for school this morning...

She passed the gas. I pretended to be appalled because, well, that's just what we do. Until I really was appalled. When she said, "Oh, that's just my butt speaking to ya."

It's barely midnight and I've wiped out everything I had in the Tivo. I hate that all my shows are on break right now. Whatever am I supposed to do to stay awake all night????

I've got laundry going, but the majority of housework I need to do is upstairs. I hate to risk disturbing the peaceful slumber of the small child and the man who is back to working hard during the day.

I should go to the store and buy the crap I need for the Easter basket, but hate that all that ...

After seeing the Sookie Stackhouse series recommended by a few people on the boards, I decided to check it out.

I just finished the first book, and was annoyed that they never revealed Bubba's identity. I had what I thought was a strange guess about who he was, but figured I must have overlooked something in the book. I looked back through the chapters... nothing.

So I went online. And I was right!!! I just hope he returned to his younger, fine self when he was made ...

I don't think I'm too picky, but c'mon.

So she looks like she just woke up... not the photographers fault. But surely they could see that her hair was not in place at all! I don't know what the policy is as far as touching the children they are photographing, but they could have straightened her hair... not brushed it, but just a little flip to fix it is all it would have taken for me to write that $40 check.

This package is going back tomorrow without a check in any ...
