I think I'm losing my voice!

Sannah got the game for Christmas with her Wii, but is just now getting into it. My daughter, who will never shake her booty is tearing it up. And the singing... she hates my singing but is begging me to sing with her

The singing and dancing at the same time is a bit much to start, but we finally figured out how to make it just singing for now. I think she knows all the words to Pocketful of Sunshine and Hot and Cold by heart now. ...

So maybe the photos aren't technically perfect, but the technique of watermarking them has been aquired!

It only took a two hour phone call with Kim (Thanks Kim!) and me staying up until 3am practicing!

Sannah and I had a photoshoot today. She was not thrilled about it, so I bribed her with a makeup night complete with false eyelashes I got out of it tonight when her friend asked her to sleepover, but I'm sure that experience will be soon in my future. ...

So, I bought these two rockin' outfits for Susannah on ebay. They weren't super pricey, but being the tightass that I am, they were definitely more than I normally spend. I followed the instruction on the listings saying that these particular outfits run on the small side and to purchase the next size up. I bid one up, and the other was just so cute I paid the full BIN price. Because I wanted them. Because I want to see her wearing them THIS YEAR!

that I bought her a book about periods, since we have been talking about them a bit here and there.

So I mention that a book will be coming like it's no big deal.

"Oh good" she says. "This way you can't leave anything out like you did with S-E-X"

I ask her what she thinks I left out.

My house is so quiet. I don't even know what to do with myself. Well I do know what I should do... go to bed.. it's almost 5am!

Susannah and DH left Friday morning around 6am for a weekend in the forest. I have to work, so I didn't get to go

My kid is weird

She has been counting the days until Friday. She was beyond happy when they called today, letting us know her glasses are ready! She even cleaned up the living room and bathroom without one complaint so we could leave sooner (Hmmm, maybe I should hold her glasses hostage when I want her to do something without any lip!)

So we have them... for those who guessed... the answer is... she REALLY wanted #3. She thought they were beyond cool and ...

And it's going by so fast! We need a quick little getaway before it's over!

Susannah is sure these guys will light up in the dark... she's decided she'll be hunting them tonight
