I got the first three discs of True Blood from Netflix yesterday. Derek took Susannah to work with him today, so I decided to check them out.

I watched the first episode, and it's kind of weird seeing Sookie... not sure if she is how I imagined her from the books. Or maybe becuase I read all of them, she wasn't as naive in the last ones as she was in the first.

So, yeah, if the first episode is any indication of the rest, I won;t be watching these while Susannah is awake. Wow! HBO isn't shy about their sex scenes I used to wait to watch The Sopranos until the small child was in bed because of the language and sex scenes. I think True Blood might top those.

I have to say it's sure nice to have a Sookie fix, even if it's only for a few days.

I saw the show before I read the books, so I always have Anna Paquin in my mind when I'm reading. The show is *DEFINITELY* not for young eyes-- every episode has nudity, sex or language of some sort that is inapropriate for kids.

The new season starts up in a few weeks-- I can't wait!

Well, since I just started reading Sookie two weeks ago, before I learned about the TV series, I did not picture Anna Paquin at all. I think I will read all of the books first and then rent the DVDs.

How is Bill? Is he cute?

Eh. He's alright. I could think of better looking guys to play him, but I've only watched the first episode. Maybe he'll unleash his sexiness when he and Sookie get busy.

Who I can't wait to see is Erik. What man could possibly live up to all that she describes Erik to be?
