Life has been so very busy lately. And I feel like I've been neglecting you.

Bub got his first tooth---awwww.
Ever since Brian got home, his fingers are Brennan's favorite chew toys. Brian kept saying how hard his gums felt and that it hurt and he was sure Brennan was going to cut a tooth. Ok so she's been five for a whole four days now but looking at her tonight, right now laying on my rug....it's hitting home BIG time. Who is this big girl in front of me?? Where did my itty bitty baby go??
The poor girl spent the day w/a cough and then later a fever and an awful cold which has lasted days now. Thanks to Pre-k. Actually we've all been sick, taking turns since we got back from our florida trip. It just won't go away!! Poor Brian--who left to go back to Iraq yesterday ...

Everyone is sleeping right now. The babies are napping and Brian has literally crashed. It took him FOUR days to get home to us and sleeping on benches in airports isn't exactly comfortable.

Needless to say I have a hard time napping right now. I'm too excited to sleep.
This morning was very hectic and rushed. I was still in bed asleep when he called to tell me he was in ATLANTA!!! ...

Ok it's been an excitement filled day. My OTHER sister, *N* emailed me today (along with C sending me another email as well) and N sent pix of her 3 kids. She said she cried when she saw my page because my son resembled her middle child as a baby....she emailed me pictures and the resemblance is uncanny....OMG!!

And guess what they wanted? Yup! Tomorrow i have to go up there and sign a consent form for them to use Brennan's picture (the b&w one) in the studio and also the photographer wants to use his picture as her submission in some contest they are doing for sears potrait studios. Awww....my baby!!

I can't believe my lil man turned 6 mths old yesterday....

At Brennan's 6mth pictures I had them recreate a pose that Hyland did when she was about 9 mths old. I have a tall floor frame in my LR that has an 8x10 slot for 2 pics so i put hers in there and i wanted Brennan in there too so i thought i'd have them do the same thing. Well here are a few pictures of Miss Hyland today! Her first day of Pre-K. Mommy is holding it together pretty well. The house feels so empty w/out her though. It's too quiet--especially w/the baby napping.
She did great though this morning. I wanted to stay w/her but I had to just do it quickly so i watched her put her things on her hook and get in line to write her name on the sign-in sheet. I gave her a kiss and told her I'd see her later and have a good day and that was that. Okay ...
