Still does not seem right. Drama, drama, drama.

Well we countered back to her at $4500 yesterday, to which she was not pleased. We are getting a good deal on the house but it needs a lot of updating, and I mean a lot. It needs new drywall, carpeting, flooring and tons of little things. Then the Home Inspector found water in the crawlspace so we need a french drain and grading done outside as well as the deck needs to be bolted to the house and a ton of other things.

She countered back quickly that she would give us $4,000 but if...

I set up our Septic Inspection for next Thursday. And I am waiting on a call for the House Inspection. I am not really familiar with Septic Systems but it seems most places in Northern Bucks have Septic Systems.

We fell in love with Upper Black Eddy last year when we saw a house up there. I can't believe this is where we ended up. My DH is in heaven because it is surrounded by state game lands. And I am so happy that I got the school district I wanted for my boys. I feel really blessed...

Their Realtor told our Realtor that the Seller wanted to counter us back and gave a # but wanted to know if our counter was final. So of course our Realtor said it probably was our final. So we said it was final and she accepted it!!!

We got a great price! My DH is in shock. Now to set up the Inspections!!

Well we were outdid by $23,000 and the other buyer didn't want an inspection. So we went back to the drawing board and narrowed it down to 2 houses, one we made an offer on last year and one we had drven by a few times and wrote it off. The owners of the house we made an offer on last year decided to pull their house off the market so we were down to one.

Somehow I ended up liking a house in the area I originally didn't like but it is such a great deal. Over 3 acres, a ranch style home with a big basement, 2 car garage for DH and an inground pool. I managed to get DH to go to our max offer since the house already has another "good" offer on it. We find out tomorrow night, wish me luck!!

I have to report to the Hospital at 11:30 and I can't eat or drink after midnight. Man does that suck!
