Forbidden Complaints - A pregnancy poem

This poem is a litany of some of the minor inconveniences of pregnancy -- it sure helps to make fun of them!
Forbidden Complaints - A pregnancy poem
Bloody boogers and a stuffed up nose.
Sore hips at night (though pillows help with those).
Hunger hits hard yet most foods seem out of the question.
Then after I've eaten a healthful meal -- along comes indigestion!
The joys of vaginal discharge and (achoo -- oops!) stress incontinence!
(I think I'm single-handedly keeping the pantiliner people in business.)
Still craving chocolate after five months without!
And what's this increase in sex drive I keep hearing about?
Guess I missed the bus on that one...
But I know I can depend on constipation!
Spaced-out and tired, sometimes anxious, too,
Yet, my little ones -- I'm so blessed to have two --
When I feel you inside me, wiggling and kicking your feet
How excitedly I await the day when we meet!
And how I pray that you keep safely growing within
Until the day daddy & I can cuddle our beautiful twins.
