Hopefully when i see the RE I can start IVF. I know I'll be on BCs for a couple of weeks which means I have to wait until my next cycle to start taking them which is in mid December. I am so excited to get started!

I am already visualizing the whole process for I have waited such a long time to conceive.

Whoever said "Patience is a virtue" is absolutely right because it seems like I have been waiting a life time.

My journey has already begun ...

This is my first day back to work after being off for 3 weeks. I had my surgery and far as the doctor says I am now the perfect candidate for IVF. They removed 7 fibroids , both fallopian tubes and a cyst from my right ovary. My right fallopian tube was huge. So were the fibroids. I couldn't believe how big they were but then again they were causing me a lot of pain.

Now I am patiently waiting the six week mark so I can start the process of IVF. I have been waiting for such ...

I just noticed that my previous blog is titled 'Two Weeks Before My Surgery' and here I am 2 weeks before another surgery. (How ironic) Well the reason I am having ANOTHER surgery is to remove the fibroids the previous GYN didn't remove when I had a lap to remove my gall bladder. They were suppose to go in @ the same time but the other GYN didn't have enough faith in himself to remove them without damaging my uterus. Which is fine with me because if you aren't an expert just leave it be. So my RE ...

I'm excited! I feel as though this is the beginning to something great. And even though nothing in life is guaranteed, I feel as though this is my destiny. My desire to have children has always been there. Some say that if the desire is there God is the one who placed it there. I had a dream earlier this year that I had a baby girl and she looked just like my husband with my eyes, I'm pretty sure that's how she'll look. I was just reading a thread over in the IVF section of FT. A woman asked for 1st Attempt IVF Success Stories and of course there were plenty. I admit, I use those sort of posts as inspiration because I will be taking on IVF in the very near future. I love reading those stories and feel they are needed to ease my fears, doubts, anxieties, etc. Then another woman leaves a very frustrated post, upset about the fact that FT moderators usually bans post of women telling what they feel is a more realistic ...

So, I talked to a close friend of 15 years and told her that I would be proceeding to IVF @ 6 weeks after my surgery. We got into a big argument because she has unrealistic expectations for my situation. While I won't go into details just know that people can't live their lives through someone else's. She said I had an urgency to have kids and I was offended by that because she was being insensitive.
