There are lots of titles in this world. Some are attached to fame or fortune. But none will ever mean as much as mine: SPENCER'S MOM.

hi, my name is tammy and i am an emotional eater.

when i don't feel good, i eat because it makes me feel good.

when i can't keep anything down, my brain still wants me to eat. my stomach is screaming "no way!" my stomach won, but it was interesting from a pseudo-scientific point of view to watch the struggle.

i've decided, though, that the worst part of illness is the housework that piles up while Mommy is incapacitated - sink fuuulllll of dishes, ...

stomach viruses stink. literally and figuratively. i'm missing pizza night with my boys cuz i can't keep anything down. i very rarely get stomach bugs. i have a cast iron stomach, really. hopefully this is the tail end of it.....

spence still hates homework, but he's applying himself more in class. report cards come out next week. i'm interested to see how the teacher interprets his efforts.

eta: after the morning we just had, i'm willing to ship him to either of you.right.now.

aside: we were looking at an HEL, not an HELOC. we've decided against it altogether. thanks for the advice.

can the total borrowed against our house exceed 80%? that's the regular mortgage plus the home equity loan. is it possible to borrow nearly the entire value of our house?

someone gifted a new membership to me today. i've been waffling on whether to renew or not. now i don't have to decide!
