Well, Cory just gave me my first PIO shot and it wasn't that bad. I was really worried about feeling the needle go in since I wouldn't be icing the area first like I had done with the Repronex shots, but I really didn't feel it at all, just a tiny little pin prick. It took him about 30 seconds to get all the of Progesterone out of the needle and into me, and then he massaged that area with the new heat massager thing we bought today at the Mall of America, I really think that that is going to help alot. I heated the PIO using my hair dryer, not sure if that really made a difference or not. So, now we just wait to see how I react to the shots over time. I'm sure I will get sore and stuff after a couple of days of these but I am really going to try not to complain about it too much. I'm just hoping that all of the pain will be worth it all in the end! So, hopefully the shots will continue to be somewhat easy from here on out. Tomorrow we are going to Cumberland to bring Woody to grandma and grandpas, I'm hoping to go swimming at Eagle Point (it's supposed to be in the 90s tomorrow). I'll bring the PIO with me in case we end up staying late, but I'm going to tape the race and will want to watch it when we get home so I'm hoping we won't be staying too late. Well, more tomorrow!
