I am at my wits end with Amy and her tantrums. What do I do? How do I deal with them? Nothing seems to bother her, I have tried ignoring her, putting her into time out and spanking her but nothing works, I love my girl but she really knows how to push my buttons.

Tonight I needed a break from cooking, so we went out to dinner. Amy was good for all of the 2 minutes it took to for them to seat us... Then the tantrums start, she doesn't want to sit at the table. I tell her she needs to sit and be a good girl, No! Tantrum. Then she wants my drink, I say no! Tantrum..... She doesn't want to eat, I tell her to eat, Tantrum! AGHHHHH!!!! She screams SO loud that I am sure people must think we are mistreating her.

I know she has been through alot with our move and all the relo but I need help and advice and everytime I seek advice I am told that she is going through alot and I need to be more patient! She is getting out of control and I need to somehow reduce the amount of tantrums and how often they happening.... Or at least know that when we leave the house she is not going to have a tantrum and right now it is EVERYTIME we leave the house!

How will I ever get through this stage???? sigh!

HUGS!! This is such a tough time...
I know, easier said than done, but what about when the tantraums happen at home, you simply put her in time out and walk away, letting her scream?? I often do this!! I usually say (loudly, over their tantraums) "when you can stop screaming, you can get up."
I wish I had better advice or suggestions...
