The thread got deleted, so we can't discuss it anymore there. I think the discussion was going great, and everyone was being civilized about it. It would have been a better move to move it to the debate board instead of deleting it.

You see, after our recently failed TRHEE adoptions, Dh and I were feeling discouraged. Dh had said "forget it, we are done. We'll just be happy with what we have". Then, we were sitting in church one Sunday and he kept staring at a baby. He said to me "Yeah, I think we need another one of those around the house" and that was the end of it. Then, the girl from our old church asked us again if we would adopt her baby. She had changed her mind again. Dh was very angry and hurt....

So, I have had a lot of things go worng lately. I have been pretty distroght (sp?).

I went to help the director of Michaela's new school with some stuff she needed help with. Left DH at home with the kids for the first time EVER while I just "did" something. Not something I had to do, not something I needed to do, not something I had planned. I just made spur of the moment plans and left. I didn't feel guilty. Troy is not feeling well. I kinda felt the need to hold him and...

We just got back from the deer lease for the weekend. It was nice to get away. We played in the mud and rain all day saturday and boy was it FUN. I got covered from head to toe with mud on the 4 wheeler, not to mention all the mud Chris sprayed on me while he was muddin in the truck (I was on the 4 wheeler in the same mud hole). Oh my, it was SO MUCH fun!!! I wish I had taken pictures, but no one was clean enough to handle the camera.

I am glad to be back on that lease again. Helped...

I am just feeling numb. I cry a little, I get mad a little, and then I just want to sleep. I just feel like I am in slow-mo right now.

I am floored. I don't know why she felt the need to toy with me like that. She could have just told the adoption facilitator that she was not going to place and it all would have been over. She didn't need to make up an elaborate story to mimic my own loss, which I *think* is where she learned the way induction of a stillbirth goes and so forth....

I got my answer...I am so sad.

She read the message and did not answer. So, I can only assume she changed her mind. I know she met a new guy last week and he is already sleeping over. Promising her the moon, and I am SURE this has something to do with him. (She blogged about him.)

We'll see. With all my stresses I am wondering if anything will work out alright.
