If you're wondering... he thought he would go in to work at noon today. He just got up, turned on his phone and there was a message left at 9pm last night of his employee QUITTING. This is the employee that is supposed to be there to open the tennis shop in 22 minutes. We lives 45 minutes away!

Real nice employee. He couldn't even give him a days notice? Or even a few hours for him to get to work?

I know- This is just a teenage girl but still!! He has alot of responsibility there from hiring the court maintenance people to the tennis shop people to all the pros, etc. Every little thing that can go wrong always comes back to him! I know it's this way anytime you're the boss. He's not the boss of the club, just of the tennis part.
It sucks, but that is life! He wanted a job like this for 10 years, finally got it and is just sooo not cut out for it. He internalizes all stress. NO matter how big or small... it just EATS him alive! Some of this stuff IS ridiculous though... I mean.. there is this major C woman who breathes down his neck and is so disgustingly awful... I do feel bad for him about that. There is absolutely nothing he can do about it either.... these types of jobs are NOT protected at all (like mine thank goodness).... People get fired for ridiculous stuff. This C woman was SO angry because she thought one of his pros may have made bad comments about the employee cafeteria to someone who no longer works there. It was something she heard! She wanted this investigated and was prepared to fire whomever it was that talked bad about the food... because it makes the club look bad! I cannot even imagine working in that environment. Anyway....
