And I just can't take another night like the past few nights, getting sleep in 15-minute increments. T is wide awake, so I just gave up and came downstairs and I'm just going to keep busy. I cleaned the kitchen (it was a disaster when I came home from work tonight - why can't DH take 15 minutes and clean the **** kitchen so I don't come home to a colossal mess?) and I put some laundry in and have a mountain of clean laundry to fold. T is on the floor at my feet, playing. Wide awake. Did I mention wide awake? I bet I've been averaging 2 hours of sleep a night (those 2 hours are non-consecutive, mind you). I'm just plain exhausted. It's a heavy work week, too - I have 3 12-hour days this week - whine, whine, whine.

T is sick with a respiratory infection, so he's on an antibiotic, a steroid and he's supposed to be on nebulizer treatments with albuterol and pulmicort, but I haven't been doing those.

Being awake at 3am sucks! What's going on that you can't sleep..T being sick? I hope is feeling much better soon, and that you are able to get some much needed sleep.

I woke up at 2am and looked outside..I thought it was daylight (the moon was out bright tonight) and thought DH was late for work and panicked for a minute, but realized what time it was and was able to go back to sleep.
