I really don't have the time or wherewithal to post in any kind of regular manner but I do admit to enjoying reading my old blogs. Reminds me of things I have forgotten. Like a sarcastic diary.

What a rough situation. I didn't think much about this until I went to work last night. Of course all the women can look and ask and want to hear and see the gory details. But the men..... LOL! The poor fools! So to all the men in my life......LOOK! I am expecting it ( just like before!).

But how awkward - when you know that is going to be the first thing they look at... and it's entirely reasonable... and actually they have a reason to look this time!

Even though I didn't do much today..... although I am working now, I have much more swelling today.

Kind of concerned- this is the worst it's been- really uncomfortable. I also have to work this weekend..... I plan on calling tomorrow to see if he thinks maybe I should do a few more days of NSAIDS and abx... I also may need a few more days of of some thing to make the holiday weekend. UGH.

Maybe it's hormones too...... My BBs hurt midcycle most months..

Reassuring. I am healing well but he did say I have a lot of swelling and bruising on the sides. More than most. That is reassuring as I am very happy with the outcome so far except the sides - I am bigger there than I was which is uncomfortable. Three months until it will be "where" it will be. There is hope that I will fit in all those cute little 38 C bras! I fit now - but barely.

I am excited. No major excercise, riding etc for 3 more weeks... then the world ...

I have watched most of season 2 and now half way through season 3. DH has been watching with me and is now addicted ( although he won't admit it... he leaves the room and then asks "what did I miss!"). At least now he can stop making fun of me.

It really is a brilliant show- and for those of us spawned in the 60's, it really hits home.

Describes me right now. It must be time for my next dose of vicodin. I am so swollen on the sides, my nipples are tingling ( which I am sure is a good thing, but annoying), I look like a scarecrow and I have a serious case of cabin fever.

I know I am doing "too much" but it's so far from enough for me.

Other than that I am doing well! BAAHAAA!!!

Off to take a shower and strap myself into another bra/straight jacket.

I am a little more sore than yesterday. A bit more swelling on the sides.

I am laying low all weekend.

It snowed last night! UGH! At least it's not sunny and warm as I would be going stir crazy!

Season 3 of Mad Men arrived yesterday so I should be occupied.... plus finishing John Adams and of course Basket ball.

House full of company next week. Looking forward to this swelling backing off a bit - I feel like a body builder!

the woman who was pre-registering me for surgery said today. She is correct. But still I have a very boring medical history....... I am blessedly very healthy, I have just, well been through a lot in their hospital.

Not the least of which was 10 years ago tomorrow.

FIT!!!

I ordered a bunch of new sports bras from the TITLE IX catalog last night. I usually throw that catalog ( cool as it is!) in the recycle pile as soon as it comes because despite what they say, their bras do not fit my "girls". BUT that should all change a week from today! The docs office told me to buy a couple of good sport bras in my new size to have ready when the surgical bra comes off.

Just hate the bras I have been wearing but wasn't going ...
