At your darkest moments, you feel angry.
At work and school, you do best when your analyzing.
When you love someone, you tend to be very giving.

In friendship, you don't take the initiative in reaching out.
Your ideal jobs are: factory jobs, comedy, and dentistry.
You will leave your mark on the world with your own personal philosophy.
Wow, I don't particularly care for those ideal jobs they listed, and I'm actually the first born child. Hmmm...some of the characteristics are right on, though.

Loyalty:

You value loyalty a fair amount.
You're loyal to your friends... to a point.
But if they cross you, you will reconsider your loyalties.
Staying true to others is important to you, but you also stay true to yourself.

Honesty:

You value honesty a fair amount.
You're honest when you can be, but you aren't a stickler for it.
If a little white lie will make a situation more comfortable, you'll go for it.
In the end, you mostly care about "situational integrity."

Generosity:

You value generosity a fair amount.
You are all about giving, as long as there's some give and take.
Supportive and kind, you don't mind helping out a friend in need.
But you know when you've given too much. You have no problem saying "no"!

Humility:

You value humility highly.
You have the self-confidence to be happy with who you are.
And you don't need to seek praise to make yourself feel better.
You're very modest, and you're keep the drama factor low.

Tolerance:

You value tolerance highly.
Not only do you enjoy the company of those very different from you...
You do all that you can to seek it out interesting and unique friends.
You think there are many truths in life, and you're open to many of them.

...and here it is almost the end of February and they need me worse than ever.

Still working for my Mom at the oil and gas co. she works for. I'm now keying, and have been for almost a month. G has finally learned to key, and does a great job at it, but there are still invoices turning up dated mid-Dec. Mom confronted her about it yesterday, and poor G, she just doesn't know where they're coming from. She is the only one with invoices and DT's, so we know they are coming from her office. Keying invoices was one of G's 3mo goals when she started in Sept, and I've only been there since the last week of Dec. G started in Sept. She managed a county tax office for 20yrs, how can she not pick up what she's supposed to do now, in an AP dept?

I really like G, too, very much. She's older than me, prob 50ish. She dealt with IF and had a preemie daughter who is now 18 or 19, I think. She's very nice, and really an interesting person. I doubt she'll be around much longer.

Anyone wanna work for a great company, pd health ins for emp, only $50/mo for dependants. That is almost unheard of around here. We pay $80/wk for us on DH's plan, and he's a blue collar worker.

Guess I better get going. I should've already left but AF is knocking and I've been sick as a dog since 5am.

A little more on the subaortic membrane

Copy and pasted from post on SN bb. Most of it anyway.

He has developed a subaortic membrane and will have surgery within the next 2 years to correct it. When they do that, they will also repair the leakage in his mitral valve. It's always been there, and hasn't worsened enough to be concerned about, but since they'll have his chest cracked open and his heart stopped they'll just go ahead and tidy it up. :thumbsup Gee, thanks! <note heavy sarcasm>

Needless to say, I felt, and still feel like I've been sucker punched. Literally lost all the air in my body when she matter of factly told us what was going on. Charles said they told us this could happen, I guess maybe it's some kind of scar tissue from the AV Canal repair when he was 6mo old.

There are no restrictions on his activities, no meds, or anything like that. We'll be going every 6mo for checkups for now.

I'm terrified. Scared breathless, honestly. I came home and tried to find more info on the web, but I guess I'm not a good googler, b/c I didn't come up with much. It appears, according to what I read that subaortic membrane and subaortic stenosis are the same, but I'm not positive. So, if any of you brilliant webcrawlers could possibly find some info, I'd love to have some links. I was trying to find something in pediatric cases post AV Canal repair, (aka atrioventricular septal defect, with a cleft mitral valve) and if possible, in children with Down Syndrome.

Please pray for us. All the thoughts running through my head aren't pleasant. I'm remembering him as a 12lb 6mo old right after his surgery. He had a blessed, unremarkable repair and recovery, and we have been so thankful, but this time he'll be so much older, and I don't know, but somehow, I almost think this will be worse, b/c he'll know so much more.
