Well, there's only 4 here now. My niece and nephew, Kaylie (11) and Dylan (8) are here until Saturday. They got here yesterday and I ended up suggesting that the 2 boys I babysit, Gavin (6) and Sebastien (3) stay the night, too. All the kids just love each other and don't get to spend much time together. Since it's the last week before school starts I want them to all have a good time with memories of Aunt Dina's house. Kaylie helped me cook lunch, something they don't really get at home. lol My Mom has been raising them for the past 6 yrs and she hates to cook so she doesn't very often. I made copycat Chick-Fil-A chicken strips, homemade mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, and cornbread. You would have thought those children were in heaven, .

Last night I had all 6. 5 in Griff and Callum's bedroom, and Callum in here in my bed. They really aren't any trouble. Griffin and Sebastien left about 8pm and will be back tomorrow morning. To be honest, the more you have the easier it gets b/c they all help with the little ones. Kaylie unloaded the d/w for me, and gave Callum a bath last night. I just have to supervise and make sure she doesn't get the water too hot, stuff like that, but she's the one that gets soaked from all the splashing, instead of me. Gavin, Dylan, and Sebastien went on "nature walks" as Gavin calls them. They never make it farther than the horses down the street that they stop to pet. They pick up cool rocks and bring them back to show me. They talk about the cool lizards and toads they found.

They made a fort with just about every blanket I own, and danced to Radio Disney. That crazy Frog song is their favorite. They colored and played Candy Land, and Hide and Seek. 6 kids in my little house, and it didn't seem that crazy. Maybe DH isn't such a nut. He'd love to have that many kids, and if IF hadn't played a role, I could have had all of these children by this time, the way they are all stair stepped.

I also have to add that watching Griffin playing with everybody was beautiful. It really made my heart swell. He's just a kid, a regular ole boy, and he loves to do everything that Dylan, Gavin, and Sebastien do. He and Sebastien slept on the top bunk together last night. It was soooooo cute!
