  1. Wow...It's really been a while

    by , 03-13-2009 at 01:05 PM
Wow, I haven't updated what's been going on in a while. Well we started our first IVF cycle and it was cancelled due to a cyst that was making my e2 levels all out of wack. So we decided to start again with my next cycle. I am currently taking the bcp and will take my last one on Sunday. I go in on Monday for my baseline check. I'll update when I can.

  2. Moving on to IVF

    by , 12-17-2008 at 09:00 PM
Well, we got the final word on Monday that our 4th IUI cycle was negative. On the brighter side of things, we also got word that we have been approved by our insurance for 3 IVF cycles (100% covered except for copays! Thank you Jesus!). On top of that...I got my big ol box of needles and meds and we only paid $65 for everything. Some call is luck, but I call this insurance coverage a MAJOR blessing from God! We wouldn't be able to do any of this if we didn't have the insurance coverage. So ...

  3. 15dpiui

    by , 12-14-2008 at 06:12 PM
Tested negative on 12, 13, and 14dpiui. I stopped taking the suppositories yesterday and I started spotting...so I am thinking its a negative cycle. I will discuss my next steps with the nurse tomorrow. I am still going to go for the beta and will talk to my nurse when she calls with the results. I am thinking that if I haven't gotten my authorization for IVF yet, maybe we will try one more IUI...I don't know..we'll see.

  4. 9dpiui

    by , 12-08-2008 at 04:22 PM
Today is 9dpiui. No symptoms, but then again I didn't have any symptoms last time when I had the m/c. I guess everyone is different, and it may be too early still. I am being my normal cautiously optimistic self. I don't want to get my spirits up too high to have them come falling down. Beta is on the 15th of December.

  5. 1dpiui

    by , 11-30-2008 at 07:38 PM
Today starts the beginning of one of the longest two weeks of my life (I say one of, because I have been here three times before). Today I am 1dpiui and I started those nasty prometrium suppositories this morning. I am taking it twice per day and they are just so messy. Of course nothing eventful happening quite yet. As we all know, its still very early in the game. Since my bloodwork showed increasing LH levels on Friday, they said that I was in the process of ovulating so I didn't have to take ...

  6. Back in the game

    by , 11-29-2008 at 01:37 PM
Well, after a long needed vacation from TTC and FT, I am back in the game. I miss all of my friends here. Everyone has been so supportive in my time of need that I hate to have left. Well I am back. I had IUI #4 today. I had 3 good follicles. Two on the left and 1 on the right. I went for cd12 ultrasound and bloodwork and my largest follicle was at 14. So I went back in yesterday morning for blood work and ultrasound and they had grown to 19, 19, and 16. I didn't have to take the trigger ...

  7. Update

    by , 10-17-2008 at 09:42 AM
Well, things are going pretty good for me. My beta's finally began to drop as the doctors expected they would. Af came this past Tuesday and came with a vengance. I was out of work twice last week due to the pain! Ouch! I am finally doing well and accepting what happened, it's hard but life must go on right? Dh and I went out to dinner last night to discuss what's next. We just keep telling ourselves that there was some reason that God felt that this pg didn't need to continue for the best ...

  8. beta #4, more than double...now what?

    by , 10-06-2008 at 09:26 PM
So on thursday I went in for beta #2 and my number went up to 40.9. Still too low for the RE's liking. So I went in again on Sat (18dpiui) and the beta went up to 135. Today I had another and it went up to 473. Doctors still sound concerned so I don't know. How to feel anymore. Should I be excited, should I be afraid? I just don't know how to feel. - will have another beta on wed, but this time I will also have an ultrasound. (They are thinking that it could be ectopic) so they want to try to rule ...

  9. Pos Beta, pregnant or what?

    by , 10-01-2008 at 11:01 AM
Well I had my beta on Tuesday. The nurse said that they had mixed feelings about it. My number was only 20.9. She said that they like to see it at 100 by this point for IUI, well boy if I am not way below that. I go in again tomorrow for a repeat beta. I asked her about if the numbers double. She said that if they double, they will still be too low. From there the doctor will decide what to do, whether to draw blood again, or to do an ultrasound to see what's going on in there. I so hope ...

  10. Tomorrow is IUI day

    by , 09-15-2008 at 07:48 PM
I am really excited! Tomorrow is IUI day. I was told that I responded really well to the increased dosage of meds. They said that they like to see max 4 follies and I had exactly that...(3 on the right and 1 on the left). I gave myself the trigger shot last night at around 9:30PM. DH goes to drop off his boys at 9:00 and I go in at 10:30AM. I will be resting for the rest of the day.

I thought that you only get the clomid side effects while taking clomid. I stopped taking it ...
