All she wanted from her lunch tray was her pears. She is turning into such a beautiful young lady. I can't believe that she will be 8 on Tuesday and that I have been a member of FT for over 8 years. Where has the time gone? Before I know it she will be all grown up and having children of her own. I look forward to her getting older, but yet, I want her to stay little, too. How much longer will she even fit on my lap? Not much, from the looks of her long spindly legs!

He is jaundiced and had to come home in a car bed instead of a car seat, but so far so good.

I'm very proud of my son and the man he is turning out to be. He is just 21 but has 2 kids of his own and is very responsible for both of them. He is a great father. And his boys are so sweet and beautiful. I love them little guys so much.

Of course, holding Landen makes me hot with baby fever. Eric says he has been thinking about having another baby, too. Wondering what it would be like to have 2 running around our house.

Anyway, I'm just thinking about it and thinking isn't going to get me anywhere but wistful. So, no more thinking about another one.

So, I did the party and it was ok. She had about $450 in sales (which makes me about $100) and 3 people booked parties. So, that turned out well. I didn't have my game face on, but it still worked out well. Lucky me!

Thank God Eric helped me by taking the stuff over to her house and helping me set it up.

We also got Jessica's dance recital costume last night and I have to say "what in the hell did I pay $53 for?" I could have made this costume for less than $10 with a bag of gold sequins and a bag of yellow feathers. OMG! It is horrible. She is a duckie. I'm sure she will make a very cute duck, but his costume was absolutely, hands down, not worth $53. I am getting ready to go buy the bows for all of the girls shoes. I'm the group mom . . . and I'm wondering what the hell I signed up for that for!

I also think I am getting a sore throat . . . .

Anyway, I am off to the annual Vera Bradley Outlet Sale in Fort Wayne, today. So much fun! We went last year and had a blast. My mom, Lyssa, and grandma are going to make it an annual event for us. We really enjoy watching all of the crazies fight over purses!

Dh is taking Jessica to dance class by himself tonight and that should be interesting for both of them. He is such a good dad most of the time, but dance class -- alone -- that might be a different story.

Well, I had better go apply my bare minerals make up so I can be ready for the Vera Sale!

Three days in a row is absolutely unheard of for me. I'm becoming way to organized in my old age.

I spent the day scrapbooking while Jessica was at pre-school today. I got alot done, including my surgery, and am ready to move on to the last vacation. Then I will go back to Jessica's book and try and catch her up. That is my goal for this year, to catch up Jessie's book. Uuuhhh, yeah.

Brian called and said that he was coming over with Braden & Julie (his new girl). Braden's mom is having a hissy fit that he has a girl around Braden, so she is going to hide out here while he picks him up. It's so funny that what the psychic said years ago is coming true now. I really can't explain how much I dislike Bri's real mother.

Jessica was so cute with him tonight. She kept trying to kiss him and hug him. He got on the floor and played with her tonight. She really misses having her big brother around.

Of course, Jessica loves Braden. She thinks he is her own personal, living, breathing baby doll. And he is. He tolerates her getting in his face and just grins at her. He is such a good boy.

It seems that I have come down with the nasty cold that everyone else has had for 2-3 weeks. It went straight to my chest and I am so wheezy. I can hear myself practically gasping. I think I'll go take a neb treatment and go to bed . . . more tomorrow about my uninteresting life (maybe --I would hate for FT to go down because I blogged this much --he he he).

I had a pretty good day, but can't hardly believe that I am 31. My husband and I met when I was 18 and he will be 50 this year. It just seems like time is getting away from us so quickly.

Jessica is such an adorable little thing. She wanted me to sing to her tonight (I have a terrible voice) before bed. She kept wanting song, after song and I was out of new ones. So I sang One More Day by Diamond Rio. It was played at Bailey's funeral. My voice was shaking and my lip was quivering and I was crying. My little girl barely noticed as she laid in my arms smacking her lips (she does that when she is tired). Sometimes I wonder how I could have been so cursed, yet so blessed at the same time.

We took Jessica swimming last night. Wow! What a little daredevil she is. She wanted to swim all over that pool. She even jumped off the side and went all the way under. She is like a little fish. I think swimming lessons are in order for next year. Hopefully, my parents will re-open their pool next year so we will have somewhere to go on a regular basis. I just can't believe how much she liked the pool.

After swimming, Carie took her to Payless to buy her some cake. She came running in the door and said, "Carie bought me cake and I carried it" then took off running, fell, and dumped the cake. Didn't phase her!

We stayed at grandma and grandpa's for a while. Grandpa just doesn't feel well anymore. It worries me. I want them to live forever. I know that isn't possible, but I just never thought they would get this old. I'm so sorry for the way that I have treated them in my younger days. They have always been so good to me and they are absolutely in love with Jessica.

It was really hot here today. It was in the high 90's and not a breeze to be found. I checked the extended forecast for California next week and for the week of my surgery. It will be no lower than 96 during the day. And most days look like sunny and 99. Yikes. I think Eric will have to go buy me a fan for the hospital. Anesthesia always gives me hot flashes.

Jessica is counting very well today. She starts out 1-2-3 - - - 7-8-9. She'll always skip 4-5-6 and sometimes she'll go on to say 10-11. She's so funny. What an incredible child. I love her so much. Thank you God for giving her to me.
