I am such a bad blogger. It has been so long since I have even thought of blogging. I just got home from having lunch with my daughter at school for grandparents day. I'm a Mimi times two now. Landen Michael Greene arrived safely, albeit 4 weeks early, last Thursday (2/22/07). He weighed in at 5# 8 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. He is gorgeous and has lots of brown hair. Brian & Julie are very happy to have him here. He is jaundiced and had to come home in a car bed instead of a car seat, but so far so good.

The verdict is . . . bronchitis! And I really can't quit coughing. I have had a breathing treatment, cough meds, and the antibiotic and I am coughing every 10-15 seconds. I guess I won't be sleeping tonight.

yes, I typed it right. Cob on the corn . . . that is what Jessica calls it. And she loves to eat it! She is such a sweet child and I am immensly blessed to have her.

I was so sick yesterday. Feeling very dizzy and lightheaded, sore throat, drippy nose, stiff chest. I hate being sick, especially in the summer. But I had a candle party yesterday. And I had to do it because the lady had invited people from over an hour away.

So, I did the party and it was ok. She had about $450 in sales (which makes me about $100) and 3 people booked parties. So, that turned out well. I didn't have my game face on, but it still worked out well. Lucky me! ...

I feel really out of sorts today. I put my mom and her friend from high school on a plane this morning to go visit 5 of their friends who live in the Sunshine State. She will be back on Monday, so it isn't like she will be gone forever. But Jessica didn't want her to go and she cried and cried about her leaving. It just makes me sad.

We also got Jessica's dance recital costume last night and I have to say "what in the hell did I pay $53 for?" I could have made this ...

I just can't keep up no matter how good my intentions. I wanted to do a diary for Jessica, but it just doesn't happen. I'm so lazy. It's not like I am not on the darn computer every day, either.

Anyway, I am off to the annual Vera Bradley Outlet Sale in Fort Wayne, today. So much fun! We went last year and had a blast. My mom, Lyssa, and grandma are going to make it an annual event for us. We really enjoy watching all of the crazies fight over purses!

I took Jessica to the doctor on Thursday and her ped says "bronchitis". I tried to get into the doc for myself, without any luck. I have to wait until Friday. Chest X-ray for me shows pneumonia.

We are both on z-packs, oralpred, and cough meds.

After 3 days of meds, Jess is better, I'm not. It's bound to get worse before it gets better.

because I have blogged 2 days in a row. We went to the riverboat casino for my birthday and blew way to much money. Now we are home, I feel like crud from being in the smokey casino. It was a lot of fun, though.
