    by , 08-06-2007 at 10:46 AM
lately my girls have been resisting some naps. yesterday it was the afternoon nap and today it's the morning nap. i'm not sure what's going on with that. i don't think they're ready to go to one nap a day yet. the problem is, if one doesn't want to nap, she keeps the other up! going to try a little CIO for now.

    by , 08-03-2007 at 09:51 AM
on the pros and cons of schedules.

my girls have been on a pretty strict schedule since birth. with 2 it makes life easier. we let them set what the schedule will be, but we stick with it. if one naps, both nap. ones eats, both eat. it works really well and they have been sleeping thru the night since about january. they sleep almost 12 hours most nights. which is great. and they know when they eat and when they nap. which is all great. but schedules have their downsides ...
