I'm just a normal gal...

I really do see some improvements in Lane. He still has his moments where he tries to push my buttons. Like running and cutting in line for the school bus. Drives me crazy. He nearly knocked a little girl over trying to get on the bus yesterday because he wanted to be first. ugh. If it hadn't been raining and I hadn't had 4 toddlers outside on the porch who would have followed me out into the rain he would have so gotten an earful from me. However, he got it this morning instead and will be standing last in line all next week.

The rest of the time though he really does seem to be making progress. Homework time is not taking as long and he has came home with better grades on his spelling papers. He has not argued when I told him to write his words over or clean up his mess. It's little steps but he's learning to respect me and I'm not having to use my ugly mean tough mom voice all the time to get it.

We even got to take a little walk yesterday after my math class. It was nice.
