a warning to dog owners..do not buy Sergeant's Gold Flea & Tick Squeeze!! My little dog Brady had a severe allergic reaction to this and it has been a very scary week for us! It severly burned his skin and he went nuts trying to get it off, seriously....leaping in the air, running around, rolling and crying. Now he has scabs all over his body and is itching himself raw. After Googling, I learned that many other people have experienced the same thing and yet they still have this on the store shelves!! Luckly I caught it quick enough...it can be much more severe, including seizures, foaming at the mouth and death. Thanks to Google, I was able to treat my dog before the vet even returned my frantic phone call at nite. I bathed him 3 times with Dawn dish detergent to remove it, and then gave him 12.5 mg of Childrens Benedryl which I ground into a powder and pressed into a doggie treat. The vet said to continue the 12.5 mg every 8 hours.

There are many other brands that also can do this so beware of over the counter products.
