  2. My Journey so far

    by , 10-29-2012 at 04:16 PM
My journey began in 2008. I was a few months shy of being 31.
My fiance had returned home from a deployment overseas and a few months later we found out we were expecting. We miscarried a few days after taking a pregnancy test.
I had no idea what loss felt like before this. My heart aches everyday for my child.

I saw my primary care dr about 6mth later and told him that we have been ttc since the MC. He was great and said there is no reason to wait, I'll send you to ...
  3. Prayer request

We got the call this morning to let us know that Larry (the big overachiever) is no longer viable and will not become a frozen siblingsicle. I am very sad but knew in my heart that he was not likely to survive after reading the literature on 12-cell day 3 embies with no evidence of compacting... he had a heck of a start but he wasn't able to make it to the big leagues.

I've been quite sad but I know that if he was meant to survive he would have, whether or not he had been transferred. ...
  4. 4dp5dt WHAT A LONG DAY

    by , 06-16-2012 at 11:02 AM
Today is Friday and I woke up at 6:30am. I had an appointment at 9:15am at my RE office for a progesterone check. And remember the office is over 2 hours away. I enjoyed my trip as I always do. I enjoy listening to the sirius radio. I arrived about 10 minutes late and I sat in the waiting room. I then saw a friend I had made during my stimming trips to the RE. She is a beautiful lady who is as sweet as she can be. She was 1 day ahead of me in our IVF journey. I am 6 months older than her and we ...

I have never opening expressed my thoughts and feelings on infertility before. In fact, I have never blogged before. I happened across this site by accident. Reading the other blogs have given me new understanding and a desire to write what is on my mind and heart.

As my profile says, I realize I am young for what I have been through in the last 5 years. My husband and I got married young, wanting more than anything to be young parents. After a year of marriage, we decided ...

I was very scared and sad that I had my baby so early. My son was born alive with a strong heartbeat but his poor little lungs were not fully developed. About 45minutes later my baby boy passed away. My boyfriend/fiancee and I are so sad. I still feel like this event was just a bad dream. Everyday

  8. Grandpa give me a miracle...

    by , 05-24-2011 at 06:41 AM
Sunday morning I get the call from my Mom... "It happened” I already know to what she's referring... Grandpa was going downhill fast, especially after they decided to take him off of dialysis. I was lucky enough to get the chance to see him the day before. Though I wouldn't really consider myself lucky... Seeing someone who you have looked up to your whole life transform into someone you don't even recognize is not a pleasant endeavor. His dementia stole his memories, and to him I was ...

Tonight, out of the blue, Kelly came out of his room after going to bed for the night to tell me that he had just "randomly started thinking about his brother in heaven" and how he couldn't stop thinking about him, so he prayed for him. I have no idea what made him recall that he has a twin who isn't here with him. He knows that he was a twin because years and years ago it somehow came up and I told him, but we don't discuss it all the time or anything. I don't know, but he seemed so worried ...

I am 38, married for 14 years, have a stepson and lost my son at 21 3/7 weeks due to IC. We were unaware that I had IC until I ws 4.5 cm dialited. We went in to the OB because I was having CM with light pink tint. They did a vaginal exam and saw my ambiotic sac hanging down. They rushed my code 3 to Abbott NW in Mpls, MN. Once there they examed my, did a ultrasound and gave us our options. In the end I had BV that infected my placenta and my water broke and I went into labor. 26 hours later, ...
