Holy Cow! This is quick! I got my dates for our upcoming donor cycle and am so surprised at how quickly things are moving. We learned of our match a couple of weeks ago and I've been on bcp's for the last month.

I'm meeting today with my BIL and FIL. They want me to join the family business. When they first approached me, I thought "no way". It's all just too close to home. But the more I think about it, the more interested I become. Am I crazy? BIL has a history of being up and down emotionally, but he's managed to really grow this business. BIL and FIL have been very successful businessmen and I'm flattered that they think enough of me to approach me about this.

I was on the phone with my mom last night and we agreed that we would try something new that we haven't done before. Unfortunately since we live in different states, we can't try something together. We told each other we'd touch base in a couple of days to tell each other what we're going to try.

We were brainstorming, and I think my mom is going to take tap dancing lessons! How great is that? I know she's also considering sailing lessons, but that might end up being more money ...

Ahhh. I can take a deep breath. I feel like we were a mile a minute over the long 4th of July weekend. My house is a wreck, and I have a million things to catch up on, but we sure did have a lot of fun!

We're lucky enough to have lots of friends that own lake homes, so we were invited to spend most of the holiday floating on rafts, riding jet skis, and enjoying sunset boat cruises with a bunch of friends. My tan looks good now, but I've probably aged myself prematurely with sun ...
