New to the site and first time IVF

So I have come to conclusion that no one that I'm close to has had the trouble or problems that I have had to go thru to get pregnant so now I'm turning to you gals and welcoming you with open arms about what your going thru and I'am willing to help in any way that I can, cause I know that thru this process I will need all the help I can get.

So I have had all the testing that I need to start my first IVF now been on BC for 18 days (which by the way I had break thru bleeding and about had a nervous break down cause no one told me that would or MIGHT would happen) I go for my BW/US to start my Follistim on Friday and then sunday is when I start all these crazy hormones.

So I can use all the advice that I can get..

    I wish you nothing but the best!!!! I had breakthrough bleeding my first attempt with birth control because RE #2 gave me the low dose ones. Apparently it happens often.

    Take it 1 day at a time. When u see all the meds and needles you'll just about freak out. Just one day at a time...that's all u have to accomplish. Put the meds away during the day and just live your life as best as u can. Try a new restaurant. Watch a funny movie. Get ur mind off the treatment.

    Best of luck! Follistim wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. Hoping your experience is similar

    Thank you ladies for all your insite and support, you all are so sweet. <3

    I'm starting to get excited, I recieved my drugs in the mail yesterday and now it is becoming clear that our time is getting closer and is really happening, but at the same time I'm trying to stay clam. I will def keep yall up to date..

    I totally hear you. When I received my HUGE box of meds June 1st I was overwhelmed, but Sanfra is right. Take it one day at a time and don't let it take over your life. After a few days you get into a routine and think less about it. Keep us posted on your progress!
