Don't want to mess the results up on the poll because of course when the elections come I can't vote as the OP stated.

Really I'm just wondering how long the post will stay up...the usual suspects have started to turn it into a debate

Yesterday we had G's second NEP (same as an IEP...think that's what you guys call it ). Anyway some of the things we were focussing on last semester she has achieved

Her social skills are EXCELLENT, she is joining in with the other children and playing really nicely. This one made me smile...a lot....apparently for group time, she is chosen as much as the other children as a partner or to take a turn etc...and she chooses children all by herself too. She is being accepted So happy ...

I've been a slack blogger lately. Life is just too busy but I wanted to make sure that I blogged about my big boy. Although he can be a "typical" almost 15 year old, he is a good kid for the most part.

Anyway onto the news. He got a(nother) great report for the end of Term 1 on Year 9. 4 As and 4 Bs, but the comments were just awesome, I wouldn't have cared if they were all Ds with the comments. Just wonderful

Now to the BIG news on H...

I am getting beyond frustrated with the toilet training. We started again just after Christmas...straight to knickers, no pull-ups. She understands everything, has all the signs plus more. Not many accidents at all, however, nothing on the toilet either. Only time was in the pull-up at nap-time or the nappy at night. Let me say this girly has the bladder the size of China

Anyway I've been speaking with her OT and she has been speaking with other OTs and everyone has said ...

He was born last night at 9.30pm Adelaide time. I'm so proud of my SIL, she had a VBAC, what a trooper. He is 3.7kgs (around 8lb5oz for the non-metric folk ) and 53cm long (no idea what that is in inches but it's pretty long.)

All is well and we are going in to see them later today after DH gets home.

Sitting here by myself, slowly freaking out. My SIL was induced this morning....last I heard from BIL was that she was fully dilated and just waiting for the baby to drop a little way further down and then she was going to start pushing. That was about an hour ago.

DH is away, so I'm here with my two little ones (Big DS is with his Dad for some holiday time) and my 2.5 year old nephew. Nephew and DD are in bed...little DS is another story ...

Had weigh-in on Tuesday, wasn't as bad as I thought. I did put on 600gms which was pretty good considering I've been channeling PacMan for a month Back on track now.

Also only have to lose 10kgs (22lbs) to get to goal However, I think I'll make it 12kgs....because if I only lose 10, I'll be right at the top of my healthy weight range for my height...and I really am not "big-boned". ...

I walked for an hour tonight...so needed to, I know that I have put on weight over the holidays and it's just depressing me. I had fun doing it though
Anyway...back to bootcamp again, I am dreading weigh in on Tuesday

Also took the kids out to the park today and we walked there, only 15-20 minutes walk but walking anyway. Had a lovely lunch at a local trendy lunch place. So anyway the lady who is the owner (L) is just gorgeous, she has a little boy 2 months ...

Sheez I'm sick of food All I have done for the past month is eat and I'm over it. Also sick of cooking lots and lots all day everyday. It's been fun having so many parties and guests but I want to do NOTHING for a few weeks and turn into a lazy couch potato

Today is the first day for over a month where we have no plans...the kids are napping and DH and I have a lap-top each and we are just "wasting" time. It's awesome

I had a pretty good 2007...would probably rate it an 8 Despite a couple of hairy moment health wise with big DS and the usual coughs and colds, we were all pretty much healthy throughout the year....big achievement with a SN kid

Both DH and I did really well with our studies and financially we managed to consolidate and be more comfortable after what had been a few hard years...still need to consolidate further

I managed to lose over 30lbs...big highlight ...
