Are they growing up too fast? or too slow?

There seems to be an odd combination of the two going on.

I have heard people refer to the scars of infertility. I have always felt a connection to other people touched by adoption - other parents, other children. It is only in recent years that I have realized that though that connection I can feel NORMAL.
