Busy, busy!! Sorry about all your woes of late, it does not sound like fun.

Did you guys speak with a financial planner about your $$?? I ask because my BIL won a big settlement a few years back and he was actually advised NOT to pay down his mortgage because of blah, blah, blah and the financial planner showed him how to make his money actually work for him and so forth.

He's done really well and was LATER able to add something to the mortgage.

Just thought i'd mention that.

Sonj, I fiqure it this way. It is really the only investment (stocks and things not so hot right now) where we paying down the mortgage you are "for sure" saving some money. If the market was good, we would pursue things of that nature. Paying on the house also gets it paid off before both girls go to college and we are planning on helping with that quite a bit.

I think you need to take some of that money and spend a weekend at a spa pampering yourself!! You need a break girlfriend!!!

Shelli, the skylights(solatube) are for me! They are so cool, they bring in natural light into the home. We are having 3 installed next wednesday. They are so awesome! C bought himself a toy today, a new receiver and speakers. The girls each got a new dvd. The rest is on the mortgage, that is the only sure thing these days, that we know we are saving a ton of interest by knocking the principal down. The stock market now is just not a "sure thing" we do have money in that too, just want to cover our bases. So ya, I have my prize coming next week!
