Today Griffin and I had a play date with a 3rd cousin of mine. Our children are 2 weeks apart which is kewl because we can share helpful hints and tips and help each other through the same stages.

This cousin also has an older child who was born still, I'll call him E. He passed during birth from several different complication later found out through autopsy. She was 2 weeks overdue with him and gave birth at home. We hadn't talked much about it previous to now as we truly did ...

I wrote a couple of blogs ago about a friend of ours going through IF ... she called to tell us tonight that her HPT was positive ... and sent us a pic of it. It is VERY positive. She is 12dpo and the line was VERY VERY DARK!!!

We are so happy that she had the miracle she always wanted!

I am having huge issues with my baby going into daycare. I mean I am lucky as I live in Canada which offers me a one year maternity leave to be home with my baby boy. For that I am thankful. However ... making the decision as to where he would go when I returned to work has made me sick!

You see ... When i was small I was sexually abused by my babysitter ... and still have vivid memories and did years of therapy to deal with this. However I still have this lingering fear that ...

We had friends over for dinner tonight and had a great time. They brought Griffin a present as they had not seen him for christmas ... he loves the little wagon and blocks ... it was a hit!

They have been trying to conceive now for over a year. I know that she knows in her heart that she needs help as she has some previous diagnosis but I think like all of us with IF, that she was hoping that maybe just maybe there could be a miracle and they would conceive naturally. She is ...

Today I was able to be a proud mama. I brought the G-man into my DP work to show him off. Everyone runs to him when they see him and speak of how cute he is, how perfectly round his face is, his complextion like procelin and his bright eyes. They spoke of how healthy he looks, how advanced he is for his age and how kewl he was dressed.

When refelcting back on my day ... I am proud to say ... I am trying to be the best mama I can be. And so far ... my baby is making ...

Although I had a crappy-ass day with regards to being let down by friends ... I truly enjoyed my day with Griffin.

He was in good spirits today and thought everything I did was funny. My favorite time is when he just wakes up from a nap or in the morning and when I go to get him ... he is so excited, gives me the biggest smile and turns his head away as if he was shy. My heart melts everyday when he does this.

Griffin has now mastered rolling at speeds ...

I am new ot this SAHM stuff. With Griffin being born right before summer there was little programs offered for new mom's during the summer so I found it very lonely and isolating during those months. I was glad to finally begin mom and baby groups in September to get us out of the house and meet other new moms.

My family all live at least an hour away and what friends I do have either live an hour away, work during the day or do not have children. So to say the least I am truly ...

Okay So I finally gave in and rewarded myself with an updated membership which gives me the right to have an on-line journal!

So where do I start? Let me introduce myself and my family and then hopefully that will set a foundation for my blog.
