Well we finally got around to taking the kids training wheels off and taking them to the park to learn to ride them. Last year we never got around to getting them bikes that were big enough for them and this year DH has been working so much this was the first chance we have had to both take them. This is one downside to having two kids learning to ride at the same timewith a 2 year old to keep track of too. It really takes mommy AND daddy! lol Anyway, they did great and in an hour and a half were riding circles around the park.

The reason I am blogging about it though is that they melted my heart tonight. They were riding around a "lake" in a big circle and Alyssa fell on one side and I yelled from the other side "Are you OK? " and she said she was tangled up and couldn't get up. I knew she wasn't hurt so I told her I was coming and started making my way around the lake to her. Andrew was between Alyssa and myself on the lake, and I saw him, without a second thought, immediately drop his brand new bike and run as fast as he could to his sister to help her. By the time I got there he had helped her get untangled and she was sharing her water bottle with them. I just LOVE the replationship that they have. They are so lucky to have each other and I am so lucky to have them both!
