Today was my first official ob appt with Dr D. I still weigh about the same as I did pre-pregnancy within about a half a pound so I liked that and my peri was not concerned so we will just wait and see. BP was fine as well.

I met with the diabetic educator and we reviewed the diet which I am already following. She thought that Dr D would change me to 500mg of metformin but we discussed this with Caiden and decided to stay on the 1000mg and Dr D said to do the same thing this time since we know that it works. The diabetic educator really wants me to work days but I told her that was not possible and that I have done this 2x before and know how to make it work so we will try int for now.

Dr D did my gyn exam and pap smear and then we took a peak at the baby. I could see it's arms moving now and the HB was fine. The baby measured 10w6d and I am 11w today. I have to go for genetic counseling and the NT scan in 3 weeks because I am considered advanced maternal age. I did not have the NT scan done the last 2 times and I hope that it turns out to be reassuring and not stressful. I will not do an amnio so hopefully all looks well. I go back to see her in 3 weeks as well and we will see how everything is going.
