Children

So it's one of those days when we all eat at different times again. DD works till 7:00. Dh is in the field so who knows when he'll get in to eat. I have a migraine and am not really hungry. Hamburger Stroganoff was the menu....forgive me, but I'm all about simple on days like this. I made the stroganoff mixture and made the noodle and mixed the two together into a casserole (hotdish for you Minnesota and SD folk!). They can help themselves when they get in!

MIL is having surgery Friday. BIL #2 was to take her. It was all planned. He typically does not work Fridays unless they are doing overtime, and he knew well enough in advance to schedule off if they did have overtime. But no...MIL got an email from him simply stating he hopes he doesn't have to work Friday. No mention of her surgery at all. (Can you tell he's DH's brother? ) What a jerk...I just can't get over the priorties of these people!! And the fact that they figure that someone ...

The Senior Prom is tomorrow night....I am running around today picking up Lindsay's flowers, have to steam the wrinkles out of her dress, put colored beads on her hair pins...it's supposed to be rainy and cold all day tomorrow, will be crappy for any outdoor pictures. I'm worried her dress will get water spots on it. It has to be perfect. Ten-thirty hair appointment tomorrow.....she wants me to do her nails and her make-up....professional pics at 3pm. We will be there early to get a seat for the ...

Just felt the need to do that....

Sometimes I come here (FT) and I seem to spend most of my time in prayer...so many people hurting. Losses, illness, lost jobs, troubleing situations...

Many prayers going up today.....

I guess I should have seen this one coming. The girl comes from a very strict family...they ground her for any little infraction of the rules. And her reaction is to rebel...bigtime. She has been *boycrazy* since the 5th grade, sleeping around since the 9th grade....so sad. She's a lovely girl really....I've always liked her, always welcomed her into our home...

Obviously she does not have the kind of parents who would have sat down and talked with her about birth control....she ...

H is totally hopeless when it comes to finding things. He can not find anything...even if it's right in front of him. Last night he mentioned his bath soap was gone, I told him there was more soap in the cupboard by the tub. Soooo just before bed he pops his head in the bedroom and asks me if I found more soap. I tell him once again that it is in the cupboard right next to the tub.

This morning I go to take my shower...and my soap is missing!!! H had not only ...

HE IS RISEN!!!

Lindsay got home at midnight...she is sick again, this time with a sinus infection. She had a good time in Florida, but is exhausted!

We had a nice afternoon, I took her to have her prom dresses fitted, it will be shortened, and adjusted to fit better on top (uh..less cleavage!). We did a bit of shopping and just chatted.

Now she is off again...on her way to Brainerd with A for the weekend. Won't be back till Saturday night. Sunday will be busy with two Easter dinners...then ...

He still has not said a word, never asked where I was...nothing. I really think that he does not care.

I did so much praying and soul searching last summer, I felt so strongly that God was telling me to stay in this marriage. I wish I knew why.... What is for me here? Why does God want me here? I can't reach this man...
