Sad...

Zachary told his dad yesterday he wishes he had a brother or sister. I sure do too! I actually wish my husband never would have told me that. He said one of Zachary's friends was playing with his younger brother and he said it after that.
Most of the time however he really likes having us all to himself.

My baby is a 3rd grader!

Posted 09-02-2009 at 08:54 AM by BC-MomZ

I honestly do not know where the summer went. Zachary was not excited to go back. But, he got up and got ready with no problem. I cannot believe he is in 3rd grade! *I* remember being in 3rd grade. I just does not seem possible.
He let me take pictures at home but once we got to school he was not impressed. Oh well! I need them so I can remember my baby growing up so fast.

My only child is 8!

Posted 07-18-2009 at 06:35 PM by BC-MomZ

I just cannot beleive I have been a mother for 8 years now. It took us almost 5 years to finally have a live child (had one miscarraige 3 months before we conceived Zachary.) He means everything to me. It is just so bittersweet. He is so smart and so funny. He is also my only child and it hurts inside to know he will soon be hanging out with friends more and not me.
We had a birthday party for him today. We were supposed to go to a local lake but it was rainy and humid, just not a...

He lied

Posted 07-08-2009 at 07:35 PM by BC-MomZ

Zachary still sleeps in pull ups and wets them almost every single day. Fr the past 3 months we have given him big incentives to try to get him to really stop wetting. He can have his first sleep over AND earn $20 (the money we would save in one month of not having to buy pull ups). He even made himself a chart to check off the days he did it. We let him know once he does it for 2 weeks straight he should be able to go forever. He was doing GREAT and went 13 days in a row, and then a few nights...

Last Day of Second Grade!

Posted 06-22-2009 at 07:09 AM by BC-MomZ

I feel so bittersweet about this. On one hand he has done so well this year and just learned SO much. He amazes me with the facts he just comes up with out of the blue! Info about the Rainforest, or multiplication facts! Whatever is on his mind.
But, then it makes me realize my only baby is growing up so fast and I just want to savor every moment. My husband thinks its just wonderful that he is growing up. *sigh* I just want him to stay little and mine forever. Is that bad?!

"I have a good life"

Posted 05-26-2009 at 08:13 AM by BC-MomZ

Zachary said that to me yesterday while we were resting in a gazebo after a walk/bike ride. My eyes flooded with tears. He just makes all of my struggles to be a mom SO worth it.
A family of three was walking on the other side of the rd, and a young child in a stroller. Zachary asked if he was a pain at that age, crying and everything. I told him not at that age (the child was around 2-3), he was a good toddler. I told him I would love to have another baby and a brother or a sister...

Nothing and Everything

Posted 05-22-2009 at 06:06 PM by BC-MomZ

Lots going on but at the same time not alot. Still working 45-50 hours a week. DH's hours are temporarily at 46 which is helping a great deal! I am currently very dissapointed in my first job (oil and propane 10-15 hours a week). My supervisor is not standing up for a few of us in regards to time off. We have to find coverage for our shifts and there are two people who are refusing to help, yet they both have multiple weekends off this summer and two of us do not (me included). I so wish I...

Homerun for Zachary!

Zachary got his first home run today! This is his third year playing baseball. It was so exciting! There is just something special about seeing your children succeed in sports.

After all these years

Posted 04-19-2009 at 12:49 PM by BC-MomZ

My husband still does not understand just how infertility has effected me. We got in an arguement yesterday because a mother of one of Zachary's friend accidentally got pregnant and I was less then excited for her. First of all I would not have any idea how you accidentally get pregnant as that has not and will not happen to me. Plus, if you are having unprotected sex, well its not rocket science. Anyways, I let him in on how I have been feeling lately. There are three woman at work that are...

Sad

Posted 04-14-2009 at 06:41 AM by BC-MomZ

I feel sad today. A friend at work is leaving in two weeks for greener pastures. I am happy for her and I hope it works out better for her. But I will miss her. She is a sweet lady.
I am sad that I work so much and miss time with Zachary. He is my everything. I wish I was independantly wealthy, but that just isnt us.
I am sad that my husband and I dont get any time together. We dont have a baby sitter (cant trust anyone) and the only people that are in Zacharys life dont...
