DH informed me last night that everyone's salary will be rolled back 5 percent. I think I just lost a lot of respect for his boss. I know they've been hit by the economy just like everyone else but they are not losing money. They're just trying to pad the bottom line at the expense of the employees. DH has already been hit really hard in that he's lost his bonuses that usually amounted to 50 percent of his salary. The irony is I'm more pissed off about the 5 percent. We will be okay and we never counted on his bonuses anyway. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful he still has a job but there's just something about this roll back that doesn't sit quite right with me.
