It's been a while since I last posted. It hasn't been easy the last few months but I have 2 very beautiful children that need me. These are the faces that get me through the hard days.

My Grandma, the only link to my Dad passed away just before 9 a.m. today. My SIL thinks that my Dad needed her. We needed her here too. She was the only grandma that I knew. I didn't want to lose yet. I am still hurting from losing my Dad. I wasn't ready to let go of anyone else yet. I need her here.

This long journey has finally ended and I am happy to say that it's over. I can finally rest and know that my Dad has been taken care of.

We had his memorial service on Thursday. The only true glitch was that their A/C wasn't working well and that they gave my Mom the wrong times.
There were so many people there to say "bye" to my Dad. It was nice to see so many friends who knew my Dad or even played softball with him. I just wish that some of his old co-workers ...

So I was thinking about things that my Dad would say. It would just make me laugh.

Stupid Supervisor = Stupidvisor
Chicago = Chi-kah-goh (Dh would try and made Dad say this. It cracked him up)


Thinking of Dad alot today. He would have turned 67 tomorrow. We never celebrated his birthday on the 1st. It was when his grandfather passed so we always celebrated on the 2nd. So on the 1st I will think of Dad, on the 2nd I will see Dad for the last time and ...

My Dad - Juan Angel Galvan Sr. passed away just after 10:00 a.m. today.
He left behind a loving wife, 4 sons, 1 daughter and 13 grandchildren.

We asked God to please help him and to let him know that he is loved and will be missed.

DH and I are still weighing the pros and cons but there is a chance that I will be giving my notice tomorrow. We might wait an extra week and see if I hear back about the other job but right now we aren't sure if my nerves will keep up after what happened only being back for just 2 days.

I go back to work on Thursday, so Dana and I are going to take Jacob to daycare tomorrow and let him get to know his new friends. I can't wait. I decided that Dana and I will get a few hrs alone and then go back to pick him up. I get to drop both of them off on Tuesday and Wednesday and then I am on a regular schedule and hopefully I can make it to work on time. I am going to try really hard to get up early and out the door on time.

Where did my baby go??

I was on my way back from my Dr's appointment when I saw a horrible accident un-fold in front of me. I watched as a beautiful german sheppard was hit by a car going 65 mph+ on the freeway. All I saw was the poor dog and the cars front bumper go flying in front of the cars ahead of me.

The worst part was the the poor dog was still moving as I passed by but I couldn't stop. I could have caused an even worse accident. I called the CHP and asked that someone go and remove the poor thing ...
