I'm shocked they haven't found him yet. Are they not actively looking? As to why he'd take that kid to the party, my guess is because that way he can have a valid reason for being around girls in that age group at the party, easy access. I hope he rots as well.

Sweetpea-in short? No. They aren't actively looking. It's in the hands of the county sheriff department & I'm sad to say that they go to the home once...maybe twice if you're really lucky. They'll knock on the door & if no one answers, then they leave & don't look back. Pretty much, the only way anyone with a warrant (around here at least) gets caught & picked up for it, is if they're in a car that's stopped for some violation and when the officer calls in the driver's license number they come back saying he has a want/warrant.

I DID finally get to talk to our town cop tonight though. The one that I absolutely love with all my heart. I told him the story and told him that this creeps bff lives in town, his name & where he lives. He made a few comments of how he can't believe how "sick" some people are. He glanced down at his cell that had the picture of his little girl on it (who appeared to be around 18 months or so) & said "off the record? If ANYONE ever did this to my daughter I'D be the one sitting in jail because I'd kill the s.o.b. On the record? This is one guy that I'm going to LOVE to put into jail for you. If I get him, I'll immediately swing by your house and let you know". He's going to make extra drive-by's of the creep's bff's house. I felt some relieve, because I totally trust Gabe and have SO much more confidance in him than I do the sheriff dept. If anyone gets him, I'd put my money on it being Gabe. And if Gabe doesn't get him, I know without a doubt that it isn't because he isn't trying to. -Unlike the sheriff dept.
