About a week ago my dh came home and said "how would you like a trip to Rome?" He won a trip for 2-everything paid for trip from one of his insurance agents that he does business with. After the excitement wore off I said and he agreed-no way could we be 1/2 the world away from our kids. My bf told me I am crazy and that we have to go. It is our 20th wedding anniversary around the same time. Am I nuts for passing this up? I am starting to think we could make it work and it might be really nice!

Absolutely nuts. GOOOOOO! If my sister could go 30 weeks pg, you can go with half grown kids at home.

They'll be fine. And it's only a phone call, email and at worse an 8 hour plane ride to get home.

Yes, you can do it. The first day/night is hard but then, you learn to relax and get some well deserved R & R. Now, go get a sitter lined up !!!!

WOW! That is awesome! I would go in a heart beat, I mean, its probably once in a lifetime trip. Like Emily said, its only a phone call, email or 8 hr plane ride to get home.
