Wow! Time flies!

School ended last week. K made first Honors with all A's all marking periods. T and M do not get A's, B's they get numbers 1-4. 4 is best. Also U, S, G, O (outstanding). T got lots of 4's and O's. M got mostly 3's and G's, a few 4's and Os. Speech therapist thinks she's gone as far as she can go but we'll see what happens at his IEP mtg in Oct. Twins will be changing to different school for grades 3 and 4 but with all their friends, so no biggie.

Happy Birthday to me!

The day started with punishing M&T for watching TV before breakfast, in PJ's nowhere near ready for school. During my fit I even screamed WHY MUST YOU MAKE ME YELL AT YOU ON MY BIRTHDAY DOES NO ONE CARE???? Not one of my ungrateful kids wished me a happy birthday. Kelsey turned 10 and everyday is a challenge. She gets more and more demanding - I want, I want, I want. Her latest "want" is a pr of UGG boots. I asked if she knew what they cost ...

Another funny Tess-ism....

Driving in the car the other day, T says "Mom, what is the X?"
Me - "What X?"
T - You know, the X's and O's, which one is the hug and which one is the kiss?
Me - I think the X must be the hug because you write XOXOXO and say hugs and kisses so the X comes first.

So I took a poll at work, and about half agree with me - one person pointing out that you cross your arms to hug and your lips make an O ...

Michael's ENT wanted to go back in and make sure the cholesteotoma did not recur, and to replace the bones in his left ear.

They had originally scheduled him for a 1pm slot 2 weeks ago, but I reminded them of the food fiasco last time, so they made the appt for 9am today. I fed M right up to 11pm last night so he would not be starving, and let him sleep till 5 mins before we had to leave the house.

We got to the hospital at 7:30 am and waiting till 11 for them to bring ...

I can't believe my dad has been gone for 10 years. It doesn't seem possible that it's been 10 years since that dreaded phone call from the hospital early in the morning. That these years have flown by. Life is so unfair. You should have been here to see all of your grandchildren born. You should have been here for their birthdays, christenings, preschool & kindergarten graduations, Kelsey's Communion, gymnastics meets and soccer games. It's just not fair!!! I miss you, dad.

For your dd being out of control!

Last night when we got to the gym, J's mom was busy so I was chatting with another mom who has a 16 yr old on the team. She said to me, I know you are upset about what happened, just take a deep breath and let it go. I asked her what her DD said about the situation and she said that B (her dd) told her that J has been out of control and nasty to everyone for a long time and it's gettng worst and worst.

About 20 mins later I was talking ...

I am just annoyed and need to vent, so figured maybe blogging it would help!

Good friend's dad has been in the hospital for nearly 3 wks after a massive heart attack. I have been trying really really hard to help her...by helping w/her 8 yr old DD and covering her hours at the gym (we both work p/t to help out the owner).
