    by , 03-31-2012 at 06:44 AM
Does anybody know what could be the cost of having a nurse give you the intramuscular shots (HCG and progesterone)? I plan to drive wherever she lives. What is a reasonable fee? I will need the progesterone shots be given daily for 8-10 weeks and my husband will be travelling (and is not too keen on doing it either), so need I need someone to help me....

  2. This cycle is probably a bust

    by , 03-29-2012 at 11:47 AM
Today is CD14... have I ovulated? Don't know... I was using OPK's, but never got the dark line. I was also using the Ovacue monitor and am confused by the results. The monitor technically said that I ovulated CD12 based on their readings (readings are based on numbers and their patterns), however, based on their number pattern criteria, it was 2 days off and 'should have' been today... but once it got the first pattern, it didn't care about any subsequent or more defined patterns...

  3. 11:11

    by , 03-26-2012 at 05:33 PM
11:11. That's the time I've been seeing for the past several months. 11:11 in the morning when I'm in the car, working on the computer, or walking into a store and notice the clock. 11:11 at night when I can't fall asleep. I probably just remember the numbers it because it seems odd to look at and I always think "gosh... what are the chances that I'd look up at exactly that time so often?" It is kinda weird. I am a practical person but I'm not entirely closed to the idea of things ...

    HELP: Syringe size????

I just got Bravelle but it didn't come with syringes. Apparently I need two to mix each 2mL vial. Does anyone have the info from the package of the needle they used so I can ask for the same kind? I have no clue what to ask for and my pharmacist was clueless. Does 25 guage x 5/8" (3mL) sound reasonable???

  5. A Last Ditched Effort - Go big or go home!... ugh!

    by , 03-22-2012 at 02:26 PM
    I'm just not feeling it!

I feel that this week has been tough…

I didn’t sleep at all well over the weekend… my lower back has been getting worse with pain (the lower vertebrae are all straight rather than curving under at the tailbone. This gives me a lot of back pain, as well as a bruised tailbone). When I first started with the chiropractor, he started to treat my neck because I was having mild headaches, and he wanted to curb them. He did adjustments for my whole ...

  6. Anger

by , 03-21-2012 at 12:35 AM (IVF starts in April!)
So even though everything is falling in to place and I can now soon begin my ivf journeybi can't stop feeling angry! I'm not sure why or at what but I'm super frustrated at the thought of all I'm about to have to go through. Angry at that fact that it costs so much, that insurance covers nothing and work doesn't allow time off, that pregnancy is so easy come for so many, that I have no one I can really talk to that understands, and the list goes on. I'm not sure why this came on all at once, but ...

  7. Medication Protocol Changes

    by , 03-19-2012 at 06:38 PM
I haven't even started my period yet, but I'm apparently ordering new meds (that's how little faith my doctor has in my last cycle booooo). He called and said that he wants me on 3 pills of 7.5 Femara on Day 3, then Clomid 100 mg Days 3-7, and Gonal-F Injections (Follistim) on Days 6-10... ??? I've only heard of using EITHER Femara OR CLOMID, and if Femara is used, I thought it was used similarly to Clomid instead of all on one day.

On one hand that sounds like a heck of a lot of ...

  8. A Last Ditched Effort - Go big or go home!... I'm Excited!!

    by , 03-17-2012 at 08:42 AM
    Yes, that's right... I'm Excited!

I am excited for a number of reasons... first and foremost, today is CD2 and I have noticed some changes already. Secondly, I upgraded my camera this week and I am excitedly waiting for delivery today. I ordered a Canon 7D which is a big step up from my Rebel XTi that I have had for 5 years. We recently had a good inflow of money, so it has made it possible. I also bought a brand new Portrait Lens for a couple of portrait sessions that ...

  9. A Last Ditched Effort - Go big or go home! Is it worth it???

    by , 03-13-2012 at 03:21 PM
    It is Worth IT!

I have been straying from the diet during the organic cleanse… it is so hard for me to stick to it, I have absolutely no will power and get tempted so easily. My biggest problems are eating in every night. DH and I are used to going out most nights of the week, so to change cold turkey has been very hard. I miss all my restaurant food!!

So far we have gone to LoneStar, Ruby Tuesday and a local Mexican place a couple of times. I guess that in the whole ...

  10. update...xoxo

by , 03-12-2012 at 11:40 AM (2 weeks since the loss of Addison. Scheduled check up at doctors......CANCER!!!!! OMG!)
Promised update: chemo is taking all my energy away. Can't seem to do much other than sleep. Still getting really sick from it, but it seems to be doing what it is intended to. Doc says that if it keeps moving along this well, that I may have the possibility of being cancer free by this time next year. I can't imagine doing this for a year, but if that's what it takes to get better then I'm all for it. I have no hair, it started falling out so I just shaved it all off. On a good note, I have met ...
