How do you get through the "waiting" game??

    Hey there ladies of IF...

I'm being forced to take a break until July. I know it is only 2 months away but 2 months is LONG in the IF world. Do you all still try naturally even though you aren't doing any treatments?

I guess dh and I will still "try" by ourselves even though we KNOW that doesn't work!

Good luck to you all. You are all in my prayers every night.

Hi, I was forced to wait 3 months, then gave myself another 3 months cuase I just wasn't ready emotionally. I have focused on losing weight (not too successfully I might add), and overall just getting my body and mind healthy and ready for a pregnancy. It has been good to be able to drink when I want, eat sushi and all the fun things we can't do while cycling. Take some time out until July for your self and your dh. As for trying naturally, we didn't, only because my tubes wont allow it, thats not to say we haven't been enjoying ourselves

I hope the time flies for you

    Hello and welcome!

A little bit of *trying* never hurts! Use your 2-month break to prepare for your next treatment - eat right, rest, and really get your body into shape (take vitamins, exercise, etc.).

Treatment is tough on you physically and emotionally, so take this time to really get everything in *check*. Use this time to your advantage, and in turn, you will be better prepared for your next step!

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but most importantly, from every inch of my heart...you are our very own

It's hard. Can't deny it. But.. somehow you get used to it and then time starts to go faster.
Having sex without trying to get pg was fun. As well as going out with my girlfriends, gardenning, exercise and everything else. But it was still hard. I hope your wait will go by fast

It's hard but it will fly by. Do the things you enjoy that you won't be able to during treatment. At least that's what I do. It helps me not resent everything fun being off limits during tx.

Good luck and hope time flies!

Thanks for all the words of advice. I know it will be hard so I am just going to focus on doing and trying to enjoy all of the things that you can't do when you have kids or when you are going through tx!
