Hi, my YaYas!!
Oh, Kirsten, I LOVE being knocked out. I think it's fun! I absolutely love the feeling you have *right* before you go under. When I had my hysteroscopy a month ago, in the operating room, I was totally calm and making jokes (thanks, Versed
) and as the medicine started to build, I said, "Oh! I love this part!" And the last thing I remember was the laughter of the doctors and nurses.
Oh, and Kirsten, thank you SOOO much for putting me on the prayer list at your church. That touched me so very deeply. I may not know what religion if any I am, but I am so very thankful for any and all prayers that I can get. Thank you, sweetie.

tee hee!!
I love that part too....just before going under....and then waking up feeling sooo refreshed.
It's a lot different than the general anestesia feeling. Twilight is just so........comfy..........like a warm blanket and a fire on a cold day......kind of the same way I feel about valium.....(which is why there is none to be found in this house)
OK, I'm about to check myself into a 12-step here...
There was a study a few years ago about the power of prayer. A group of women going through IF tx were divided into two groups. One group was prayed for, and the other control group was not. The group that was prayed for conceived at a rate of over 50% and the control group only at about 20%. (my %'s are not exact...I can't remember the exact #'s)
Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Buddist etc........I don't think it really matters......when you put religion aside, prayer and faith are very powerful.
I am awaiting your update tomorrow........
