Hope for anyone with a low beta!

I just wanted to give some hope to ladies out there with low betas. My husband and I have been through 7 years of infertility and this successful cycle was the result of embryo donation. Here are my hcg numbers:

    9dp5dt 24
    11dp5dt 45
    13dp5dt 78
    15dp5dt 214
    20dp5dt 1930

Our first sonogram at 5w4d barely showed a tiny sac. But by 6w1d we had a sac, a baby, and a heartbeat. At 7w we heard the heartbeat. I had a hematoma and some scary bleeding the next day but everything was ok. Today we had our 9w1d sono and we had a huge surprise....identical twins! Even with a low beta that didn't double at first we have twins in there! Only god knows how this will all turn out but I'd say we're a low beta success story. I hope that this gives someone else a little hope. I know how difficult it is when you're going through beta hell and the stories I found online helped me so much.

    Baby dust to all!

    That's a great surprise!

It really goes to show that the beta numbers don't always match up with the number of babies!!!

Pretty amazing Everything still looks good. We have another sono this Friday so hopefully they're able to find a membrane between them. It's gonna be a long week!

Amanda- wow, I love your story. Thank you so much for posting it. I'm looking for success stories based on my crazy week. Did fet with two six day blasts on 6/6. Beta on 10 dpt was only 32. Beta 2 two days later only went up to 45. I spent most of the day Wednesday crying. Then today went back for beta 3 and it doubled to 92! The number is still sooo low for 14dpt, but I am trying to remain cautiously optimistic. Thanks again for sharing and giving hope!

I hope your story ends up being similar to mine! We're still going strong at 13 weeks with mono mono twins. It's been crazy but somehow we made it through I'll be thinking about you!

Just wanted to update in case anyone is following. I'm now 16 weeks and the babies are doing great! We find out gender in 2 weeks:-) still in disbelief about it all but hopefully when I start feeling them move it'll be a little more real.

Thanks for the update. Congrats on your twins! I am still following and hoping to be able to post a good update of my own soon. I've been on such a roller coaster ride and still waiting for the next news. My betas started out horrible then got much better. They have stayed low, but started increasing at a great pace. Here's the recap:
    15dpo: 32
    17dpo: 45
    19dpo: 92
    23dpo: 656
    31dpo: 10569

After the 5th one, RE scheduled US for two weeks later, which will be 7/16 (at 8w3d). Not happy with the waiting, seems like so late. Then a week ago, a had about 3 wipes of light pink spotting followed by brown. That continued for a couple days, went away for a couple, and has been gone now since yesterday afternoon. I called REs office Monday hoping to get an earlier US. Turns out he is on vacation and only coming in for emergencies. Nurse said I probably just irritated my cervix with progesterone suppositories and to wait for original appt next week. So I have been very nervous and still feeling a bit in limbo on this pregnancy. Good news is I feel very pregnant (so nauseous, so constipated/bloated, so tired, sore boobs). The low numbers and now the spotting have me scared still. I am really hoping to have a happy ending too.

Congrats to you agin and thanks so much for posting!
