slow rising hcg levels is there any hope?

I had a positive home pregnancy test last Saturday i went to the doctors on Tuesday. I did have some brown spotting so that day I had my hcg levels checked was 250
    Thursday 319
    Monday 550
Getting rechecked tomorrow and doctor said we should know the outcome with tomorrow test.
Has anyone had slow rising hcg levels and have a healthy pregnancy?

I have seen several slow risers that have turned out healthy pregnancies. The main concern here is ectopic pregnancy, so I hope that the doctor will be doing frequent ultrasounds as long as your numbers are rising to rule that out. Good luck!

Thank you I am waiting for blood work now. I guess I will know by tomorrow. The doctor told me yesterday he didnt want to do an ultrasound until the numbers go up. Since he said there will be nothing to see at this point in time with my numbers being low. I hope it is not etopic. I guess I wil find out tomorrow

Either they suspect you lost a twin or they are being negligant about an ectopic. Is it possible you had multiples? If not, please request an u/s sooner than later. Uterine pgs are visible at hCG 1,500, so you are there!

Ttc: Good call.....not to freak you out Mika!! Just ask if you can have your u/s a little sooner....they may not be able to accomodate....i remember all too well going through FT during holidays like the 4th of July. Grrrrrr. Here's to hoping you are in the clear and it's in the "right and happy zone", not tubal. Please keep us posted here.
